I have actually made a ghetto e-patch before. I put a few of my liquids onto plasters and stuck them to sensitive body parts like the inside of my elbows to test for allergic reactions.

I didn't get any significant results, I didn't die of a few drops of nicotine eliquids on my skin and I didn't feel like I had any more nic in my system than I normally do.

Wouldn't reccomend it for a way to get your fix.

Concerning: "Those who have had their blood level checked notice they have much less nicotine in their system than they expected.
"
Take a look at: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...9-e-cigarettes-deliver-nicotine-jf-etter.html

As Rolygate summarized, "The new research published today shows instead that experienced users (all of them former smokers), in real life conditions (not in a laboratory) get a dose of nicotine similar to the dose that smokers usually get from tobacco cigarettes."

(You can actually access the pdf of an Etter letter on this, I believe the link is later in the thread, it was a Swiss site [ended in .ch]. I downloaded it.).
