Good morning, afternoon or evening!

I thought it might be handy to get a list of liquids or carts (from any supplier), that deliver a serious kick without 'necessarily' a very high level of nicotine (36mg). I know that for me, getting the right flavour with the joyous searing of the throat was one of the more drawn-out processes. It would be handy for linking new members to it when they are considering their early purchases.

I'll start off with: Janty's Heavy Shag (Med/High)

I've been trying to find some liquid that tastes like the high strength pre-filled cartridges, but they're all too mild. I can't afford to buy cartridges all the time. I've bought regular tobacco flavour and Like Smoke, but neither of those are like the cartridges and I'm wasting money. Has anyone found a liquid that does taste like them, or know of someone who sells cartridges cheap? (I have the mini e cig.)Thank you.

I've got some Janty RY4 and Camels (have actually been using the camels today) in Medium strength. I'll have to give them a go at the higher levels. I ordered a boat-load of Heavy shag cartridges, and plan to refill them with liquid when they're dry; so those two can be first on the list.

I'll take a look at the TW liquids too, seems to be quite a selection going considering how 'underground' e-smoking is at the moment.

Nuts: I was going to append the first post with suggestions as they came up, are thread-opening posts not editable, or is there a timer on posts?

Guys, may I ask....is it me or do original carts give more vapour than flavoured ones? I've been using mini cigarettes with mini cigarette carts and I have found that the original tobacco flavours that come with the kit are putting out a heck of a lot more smoke than my strawberry and vanilla carts. Is it me or is this a known fact? Its annoying as I like a lot of smoke but i also like flavour! hummmmm....

I add a single drop of VG to the Flavoured carts I have, it increases the vapour a lot and doesnt seem to diminish the taste. When the vapour drops again i add another drop of VG. This also seems to refresh the flavour in some carts that seem to be fading, though ofc the nicotine concentration will be dropping with each VG drip

The other thing I am wondering is if I am perhaps noticing a better vapour from my original white mini cig than I am my pink mini and black/blue led mini, is this even possible seeing as this is essentially the same product? I'm just puzzling whether this is just me or if this is a known thing. And, in the mean time, am getting rather buzzing on nicotine trying to find out!!!!

ive always said this...in my experience the white 901 atomiser is the best...much better vapor production.

Its interesting you should also observe that. How unusual. Its just typical of my luck, I'm absolutely sold by the funky coloured e cigs and love the flavoured vapours but it seems the best smoke, which is a great part of the appeal of any e cig to me, comes from the less sexy carts and flavours. How irritating. Is this a design flaw of some sort?

Funny you should say that, I've just been playing at a little mix and match! I'm wondering if I could perhaps spray paint the white atomiser, would that be a bad idea?

I'm glad its not just me. Another observation with the white automiser is that you can pick it up and its good to go whereas the pink/black take several puffs before you get a flow of vapour and a decent hit.

I'm a bit confused about the definition of the term "throat hit." At first I thought you guys were referring it to the sensation you get when breathing in with the smoke. I order a low concentration nic cart and it felt like breathing air. I read on here that the higher the nic level the more the "throat hit" (here is prob where I misundertsood) I bought a bottle of JC artic flavor juice in high nic content and the feel of inhalation was roughly the same, I DID however experience more of a rashy itchy feel on the back of my throat. I'm curious if THIS is what you guys mean by throat hit.

If it is, can someone point me to a juice that most feels like inhaling a cig. The feeling I'm describing seems like a feeling in the lungs rather than the throat. Would menthol help?

Chilli - I'd not describe a throat hit as a itchy feeling at the back of the throat. For me a throat hit is that "zing" at the back of the throat and upper chest like (but not quite the same as) you get from the real cigs. The "hit" is that smoker's knowledge that you've just breathed in a fix.

I'm not sure it's down to liquid alone - or even nic strength. Using 2 different devices with the same liquid - one delivers a hit but the other doesn't.

JC is known to be very smooth, irrespective of strength. Try some Totally Wicked, which is said to have more of a hit ;)

Mr. Darcy, another question, which white atomisers would you say are the best, the matt or the shiny? I'm still being an absolute fuss pot because though I'm getting an excellent amount of vapour from the matt white 901 atomiser, I still don't like the way it looks on the black battery. If it were shiny I would prefer it. How do the shiny white perform in comparison to the matt white? I know there are thread on the topic but thought that now a little time has passed there may be a conclusion to this question. I have to say my pink atomiser is going quite nicely now. I have a considerably collection of black ones and they do vary but nothing is giving me the output of my matt white one, this is something all my vaping friends immediately note upon when they try it.

its harder to get the shiny atomisers now...in my experience the matt ones are pretty similar in performance...not a lot of difference really...
