Is that because it's just got posts for one coil? I was thinking of getting one of the cheap Tobeco clones for like $7 as an rda but this is the wrong forum for that I imagine $30 is about average for a good RTA
Nope... not at all.

First, $30 is not bad for a top of the line RTA.

Second, I recommend starting with a Kayfun, a Lemo, or a Kanger Subtank Mini with its RBA.

The Merlin does look really good. I have heard good things about the lemo 2 as well. I don't think I want to mess with having to use a screwdriver to adjust airflow so I don't want a kayfun I think. Is the Subtank RBA a lot easier to build than the Horizon Arctic or TFV4 RBAs? I already have the Arctic and I have the tfv4 nano and like it a lot.

i have never built or wicked a coil before. I'm planning on ordering some prebuilt coils from fast tech and some cotton from somewhere but what is the best RTA for someone who has never built before?
Kayfun is easy to build.
SXK Nebula Wine is very easy too

I want something with easily adjustable airflow so is a kayfun really what I'm looking for? The tfv4 RTA is $20 and the rda for the tfv4 nano tank is $12 I might as well get the tfv4 RTA if I'm going that route right?

Nope tge Kayfun is not adjudtsblr unless you drill out the airflow.

Since you want easy AND adjustable; you are looking for the Subtank Mini with tge RBA installed.

If I was you, I wouldn't worry too much about which is the Easiest. I would focus on what type hit you are looking for. Then Narrow the choices down from there.

Because if you are into Maximum Clouds, people will probably recommend something Different than if you say Favor is the Important thing. Or maybe you want a General Purpose RTA.

Also, if people know a Bit More about what you are Currently using and the Watts you use it at, you will probably get Recommendations that you will might Like Better.
