There's a ton of abbreviations used here and they can be a bit frustrating sometimes. Here's some off the top of my head...

TFA/TPA/: The Flavor Apprentice/The Perfumer's Apprentice
FA: Flavour Art
LA: Lorann's
FW: Flavor West
CAP: Capella
FE: Flavors Express
NF: Nature's Flavors
EM: Ethyl Maltol
AP: Acetyl Pyrazine

I've been mainly buying TFA and have been pretty happy with them and just recently bought several VZ hangden flavors and was very happy with those. My next order is going to be some VZ super concentrates that I'm hearing some good things about. I've tried a few capella and lorann flavors and found those to weak and I need to add a lot more then I usually do with flavors from TFA or VZ. The thing about capella and lorann is they seem to be more spot on flavor wise then any thing else but you have to use so much of it. Also found the FA tobacco flavors very good and I use a lot of those as my tobacco bases.

I didn't read this whole thread so I don't know if it's already been said but MT Baker does offer unflavored nice at whatever percentage vg PG and nic. You won't save much money over just buying it there but if you want it's there. The best advice I have to give concerning DIY is start with low % of flavor then go up as needed. Too much flavoring can make it really taste nasty, and you can always add but can't take away without spliting it up etc. Also make very small amounts like 3ml until you have your recipe down. I use an e liquid calculator from the android app store and get my supplies from Wizard Labs and sometimes flavors from one stop DIY shop. GL!

Opinions from a newbie DIYer.....I find the nic unflavored from MyFreedomSmokes to be the easiest and most versatile that I have found. I ordered my flavorings the first time from MBV, but they are too diluted and have to use too much to quench my taste. Get concentrated or regular flavoring from one of the par for the course vendors, FA, Capellas, TFA, etc. and you will be much more satisfied. For me, the PG/VG ratio isn't as important. Meaning I get 60/40 or 70/30 unflavored and go to town. My vaping requirements don't include exact PG/VG ratio. Just some of my thoughts. Just like getting the setup for the first time, once you have the mixes in front of you, it will become like old hat.
