EC Blendflavors

I've ordered Strawberry, Chocolate Hazelnut tobacco, Dragon's Blood, Chocolate, Cherry Swirl and Dulce de Leche.

I made a second order with RY4, Almond Amaretto, Espresso Shot, Dragon's Tear and Irish Cream.

I'm eager to taste them all but I want to let them steep properly. How much time do you guys let them steep?

I leave the cap off for the first night to let any alcohol evaporate (not sure if there is any, but it does make a difference) and then get to vaping. It tastes great fresh and tastes a little better after a week. Not noticeable to me, however.

Others might disagree with me, but it's all personal preference and taste.

What's your opinion on flavor intensity of these guys as compared with other stores. Since you can add "extra flavor" and "double extra flavor", do they make the normal strength weaker as compared to most other stores that don't have this option? If so what strength is comparable to most other stores; "extra flavor" or "double extra flavor"? I have such little experience in ordering ejuice since I'm new to this, but the only 3 other juices I have that come from 2 vendors have been stronger.

BTW: I had to quit using my favorite flavoring cinnamon because I got a burnt mouth and a mild case of acute bronchitis I believe. I am susceptible to acute bronchitis easily. Nothing against these guys because I've heard quite a few people have to stay away from cinnamon due to it being a skin and lung irritant. Can only guess this caused my problem, but I'm convinced enough to stay away from cinnamon from now on.

ECBlend is my favorite ejuice supplier due to it's abilty to configure!

I only have experience with one other juice vendor and their extra flavor was nowhere near what the extra flavor from ECBlends is. The double extra flavor, from EC, is definitely a ton more than their flavors are. I have to say, though, that I like a lot of flavor and on some of the juices from EC I wish that I could add even more. Maybe it will require for me to go to variable voltage to find that sweet spot. I will be ordering an eGo Twist on my next paycheck to experiment with different voltages

Today I received a very nice Email from Carol, at ECBlends, and she explained what their policy on samples are. This is what she wrote:

"We do not have a free sample program, however, we do have a gift program in that our mixers give out gifts randomly every 3rd or 4th order they mix."

This sounds like a very fair program and I think I have just been unlucky Never fear, I will continue to try my luck with my weekly orders, they definitely have a customer for life (or until the day I decide to stop vaping...not looking good anytime soon...lol).

Here is an update:

ECBlend's Dragon's Blood DXF VG:20% 18mg
Good flavor upon arrival, turns superb after a week of steeping! Tastes like Starburst strawberry chews (the pink ones.) Very sweet, but not cloying. Highly recommended all-day vape, already re-ordered.

ECBlend's Dragon's Tear DXF VG:20% 18mg
Good flavor on arrival, but a bit weak, strawberry flavor strengthens and improves to excellent after a week of steeping. Very sweet. Highly recommended all-day vape.

ECBlend's Strawberry Malt DXF VG:20% 18mg
All of the malt flavors were very harsh tasting on arrival, one week of steeping mellows this out. The malts seem to be carto-cloggers also (<5ml clogged the carto.) Good flavor, not as sweet as Dragon's tear.

ECBlend's Vanilla Malt DXF VG:20% 18mg
All of the malt flavors were very harsh tasting on arrival, one week of steeping mellows this out. The malts seem to be carto-cloggers also (<5ml clogged the carto.) Flavor is fantastic and mellow! Highly recommended all-day vape, already re-ordered.

ECBlend's Chocolate Sin DXF VG:20% 18mg
Not bad, flavor is ok, but not exceptional. Mellow, you can vape this all-day. No change noticed with steeping.

ECBlend's White Peach ala Zoe DXF VG:20% 18mg
Nice weak flavor on arrival, strengthens and improves with 1 week of steeping. Peach flavor is dominant and very nice! I will probably re-order this in the future.

ECBlend's Steven's Surprise DXF VG:20% 18mg
Ok flavor, couldn't taste any strawberry, improves after a month or so of steeping, but still not on par with White Peach ala Zoe.

ECBlend's Apple Pie DXF VG:20% 18mg
Harsh flavor until a month of steeping, but then it mellows out into a very comfortable all-day vape. Recommended for any with the patience to steep for at least a month. I will probably re-order this one soon.

ECBlend's Dulce de Leche DXF VG:20% 18mg
Very harsh on arrival, improved after 1 month steep. Flavor is true to it's namesake, not nearly as sweet as a carmel flavor. This one is also a carto-clogger (<5ml clogged the carto.)

Jury is out on the following:
Mixed Berries, TKO, Pralines and Cream

Well I rarely order a flavor twice (I used to be able to say never) because there's so many flavors out there, and I want to experience variety. I don't want to get stuck on one flavor, when there's so much more out there.

ECblends is the only vendor I've ever ordered the same juice from twice. Those juices would be Cucumber and Dragon's Blood, and Desert Gold. All three are exceptional in my opinion. And put it this way, I made an order this morning with them.... for 4 fl oz of Dragon's Blood. I love that stuff.

Here's my thoughts on my sampler flavors. About me: I like STRONG flavors, 24mg with good throat hit, usually a 25% to 50% VG blend. All juices listed below are 70% PG/30% VG, 24mg, Extra Flavor, and steeped for 4 days with the cap off but dropper top still in (except for the Cherry Swirl... it didn't even last a day ).

I'm highly impressed with EC Blends. They've got a long term customer. Thanks everyone for the glowing reviews! After 2 orders with them, I strongly feel it was well deserved.

Cherry Swirl - OMG! 2 years of searching, and found my ALL DAY VAPE!! Signal the trumpets! Send in the acrobats! WINNER! Vaped half my sampler in 2 hours. 50ml bottle ordered and arrived. If you're looking for a sweet cherry, or a cherry ice cream flavor, THIS IS IT

Cherry Cola (Very Sweet) - I was a little worried about this one at first. Just like my personal DIY flavoring, out of the gate and freshly mixed this chemically ginger smell was EXTREMELY overpowering. I steeped it for four days (top off but dropper still in the bottle) and gave it another try. The chemical overpowering smell of ginger has gone away and it is much smoother. By far the best cola flavor I've tasted yet, but the cherry is still getting overpowered. This will certainly get vaped and if/when I reorder I"ll ask for heavier Cherry.

Cherry - Very light taste, even with extra flavor. When I order the next batch it'll be double extra flavor. Once I get the cherry flavor where I want it, this is very much a winner. Love the sweet taste to it. For me it did NOT need extra sweet.

RY4 - Steeping did this one TONS of good. Another one that was a little chemically and sharp off the production floor. Loving the carmel flavor to it. On CheekyMonkey's advice I ordered another sampler on my second order with extral vanilla and carmel and feel that should put this over the top and make it a competitor for my all day vape. Not like any other RY4 I've tried, and that's a GOOD THING! Should have waited to review this last, as now I don't want to put it down *grumble*

Desert Gold - Getting close! Smells similar to a fresh pack of camels, but still a bit chemically. Back in the closet it goes!

Red Box - This tastes amazingly like a burning cigarette Still a little carmely for my taste, so back in the closet.

Just got in my second order with Dragon's Tear and Dragon's Blood. Gonna steep these too, can't wait to try them.

Denin - how are the Desert Gold and Red Box - after steeping a couple of weeks? I am thinking of ordering those 2 flavors. Tried the Red Box new version - have let it steep a month and about the only way I like it is to mix a couple of drops into other juices as as flavoring. I thought I liked it at first, but after trying it out a little more, there is some flavor which I can't pinpoint in it that doesn't quite agree with me,when vaping it straight out. ECB is my go to site for juice. Love their RY4 and VC Stinger.

I have ordered from the following:
nHaler, Mrs. T's Bakery Essentials, eSmokey Treats
And I have tried these brands as well:
TopVapor, Rath

I can tell you right now that EC Blends DXF is stronger than any of them, XF seems to be around the strength of Mrs. T's. (which is a good strength for me)

nHaler, eSmokeyTreats and Rath are a bit less flavorful than the above.

TopVapor is much weaker.

I didn't notice a chemical taste, but did order it straight - did you get XF or DXF on it? DXF is usually where I find the chemical taste in some (not all) juices..

Agree about the double flavouring findings. Never been brave enough to go for the triple ! Yeah just a wimp.

Have a bottle of double flavour mango that I have had for over 2 months and it just has this chemical taint that won't go away. To be fair I have ordered plenty of juices from this vendor with normal flavouring and after steeping have never had the issue.

In fact when I can get my wife to vape at all this is the only vendor whose juice she will vape.

the easiest way to find out if the DXF is the culprit is to dilute some of it with pg/vg and see if the chemical taste goes away
