hello everyone i recently received my first e cig. i purchased a blu cig online and im not very satisfied with it. the starters kit came with 2 attys and one of the attys burned my throught a lot more than the other. why is that? maybe nicotine lvl to high? i bought the "full flavor" ones.

im am also not a fan of the flavors either. all the carts have the same distinct taste to them. i cant quite put my hands on it but im guesing its the taste of the nicotine thats in each cart?? does anyone know what im talking about? do all ecigs have that taste?

if anyone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it thx :)

Im sorry to hear that you're not enjoying it yet. Each atty has a layer of 'primer' that you need to get through. After that, you shouldnt have much burning unless you're somewhat allergic to the PG thats in the juice. Most people arent, but some are. Ive had that same burning but have not had VG.

I got used to the sensation, but it's also caused by a higher nic in the juice.
You might try cleansing your atty in Coke soak bath, blue mouthwash, or boiling it. I know 510 attys withstand this cleaning, Im not sure about smaller Blu ones.

Before that heavy cleaning, dip your atty into a small pool of liquid and see if that helps. Youre first 5-10 hits will be a lot stronger, but if its the primer thats bothering you, that will help cover it up while it burns through.

Please don't give up because Blu was your first choice, I would never have made it either.

Go to Cignot.com and get the $35 510 no box starter kit and maybe some high nic strength English Toffee. I think they have 24 or 25mg.

Some other great flavors to try are things like 555, camel, and maybe a menthol of you like those at all.

Look around in the other PG catagory and try a few 5ml size samples.

Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.

Blu isn't a fave around these parts. And flavors are subjective anyways - some of the 'most popular; doesn't mean YOU will like them :) - and I have no clue what standard the Blu ones are. From what I;ve heard, not that great so don't feel like throwing in the towel JUST yet - if youwant this to work you can buy fairly cheap kits (3 pc one by cignot.com, which is the one I use, for $35 for 2 PVs and a charger and some marlbro type carts) Mostly I don't like the tobacco flavored juices anyways. I prefer stuff like Butter Rum from tasty vapor or Blueberry cheesecake from MS T bakery - so many others too.
I'll turn the floor over now to everyone else, who will give you enough info to make yer head spin :D
Welcome to ECF btw :)

While I don't have your model, the carts that came with mine tasted pretty bad to horrible. It took me a few tries to find a juice flavor I liked, but even my first try was better than what came in the original carts.

It couldn't be nicotine as that compound is tasteless & odorless. (At least in the small quantities present in juice.) Now the stuff it is suspended in is a different matter.

When I started it was the same I hated it but with help from this site and people on it the 510 I got from Cignot is great. The taste is probably that fluid they put in them. Make sure you clean them out good before you use them. I'm so glad I stayed with it. It took me less than an hour, with the peoples help here, to like vaping and by the end of the day I loved it. You need to find the brand suited to you. Best of luck and stick with it. Your worth it.

To preface this, I just ordered a Joye 510 yesterday to supplement my arsenal. Also, I'm a major noob. However, I don't think that you should give up on the blu completely.

Not sure how much you've been typically smoking analogs, but I know that my taste buds were pretty ineffectual. Given that the blu cartridges have fairly subtle flavors, I didn't taste much for the first couple of days either. Moreover, they do have primer on them so (as mentioned by others) a cleaning or burning through that will help. Makes sense right - if all the carts taste similar, what's the common denominator? The atty. Also, the atty may take some time to sort of break in, before it starts performing at peak.

From what I hear (my first order should arrive today), better juice should make a good deal of difference as well. A lot of people have mentioned that the blu can perform pretty well for its size with the proper juice and better filler. The shoddy carts are really the biggest weakness for the blu (besides short battery life and long shipping times for black kits).

Overall, I'd say that like with buying any product, different strokes for different folks and I hope you do not give up on vaping and do end up with a product you love.
