Well, I've been vaping for a while, and I thought I'd share a few things that you should NOT do.

1) When you DIY your juice, and want to give some menthol crystals to a friend to spice up his own juice, do not do this in front of your manager in a clear small ziplock bag saying "here's some menth crystals for you to add to your vape".... a drug test will ensue.

2) Do not keep your vape in the top pocket of your white shirt... some juice WILL leak out, and bleach won't always get out the stain.

3) Fill your tank BEFORE you get in the car.... It can get embarrassing filling your vape up in front of a stranger's house. (they give you weird looks)

4) check the batteries BEFORE you go to work... it kinda sucks getting to work with %20 charge left for an 8 hour day.

5) turn off or lock your device before putting it in your pocket... Hot Pockets is supposed to be a food, not a reality.

6) If you DIY your juice and a friend wants some.. do not use your own bottles.. you won't get them back and you'll just have to order more.

Yes, all those have happened to me... .

7) Don't DIY large bottles unless you've tried and tested the recipe and know it's good. The process of try -> dilute -> try -> add something to "fix it" -> repeat gets reeeaallly tedious and wasteful.

8) Don't chain vape on a dripper when heavily intoxicated - I've woke up from a night of heavy drinking to find that I literally burned through the entirety of the wick, completely oblivious as I couldn't taste anything, even the driest of dry hits.

9) Don't enter cloud competitions, or at least don't mention it to people outside the competition, it's just lame.

10. Know the actual amp limits of your batteries, what you are drawing from them and don't exceed their CDR.

11. Don't leave the top off your tank for an extended time so the entire contents of the tank dumps on your mod.

12. Don't let your wedding band short your naked battery when you are rewrapping it.

13. Don't be an anti-social vaper

14. Don't forget to wind down the window of your car before exhaling a mighty cloud.

2) I'm not sure about white, but spot clean before laundry. Pour the soap directly on the spot and rub it in with a brush.
That has always worked for me, but if that's not enough spot clean with GOOP.

Yep! Good one! And ...

Never add flavor until your weak mix has reached the suggested number of days for steeping. You'll use all your unflavored mix to thin it and you probably won't like the 2 or 3 bottles you get after dilution.

I do this all the time. My mods don't leak. But if they did, well, I'd rather have a stain on my shirt pocket than on the front of my pants.

I keep a charger on my desk at work. Doesn't everyone?

Not wanting to have something that looked like "that" even in my house! I immediately liquified mine with vodka. Big mistake as it evaporates through the rubber bulb of the dropper bottle leaving crystals on the outside of the bulb and wasting much of it. Will use PG next time.

BTW menthol vape tongues very fast for me, but is a great change from my usual peppermint. Need to order some more...

...18650's in mine. And my work wouldn't allow that. :/ I don't like to use the onboard battery charger. Instead, I keep a tray of charged batteries I swap out from.

As far as the stain... where I work, the mod gets banged around more in the pants pocket. My mods don't necessarily "leak".. but it's more condensation around the air inlet... the shirt just wicks up anything, and left a coffee looking stain on my front pocket... just for our customers to see. :)

LOL one of my favorite first posts of all the threads LOL. I'm still picturing both folks being marched off to the UA lab and getting "tested for menthol."

Don't try to learn DIY and building at the same time would be my recommendation. Get one accomplished, then move on to the harder one, well, the one that appears as if it would be harder to YOU.

Do not buy off ebay without much, much foreknowledge. LOL.

Oxyclean. I seldom put mods in any pockets, certainly not shirt but rarely pants either. But somehow I always have juice spots on my lap, and I just Ixy every load. All gone!

I inevitably fall asleep clutching one of my mods in front of the TV, which sometimes leads to juice stains on my shirts. I just SHOUT! them out.

And bottles are like Tupperware - give them away at your own risk, never expect them back. When we host Thanksgiving or Xmas dinner at our house, we buy the cheap disposable containers and zippered freezer bags to dispense "carry out" leftovers.
