Nic`d Up in Oklahoma!
Dont give up!

When youv finally put the time in, know what kind of vape you like. When you are so satisfied with what you have learned and what you know. You get the sh*ts and giggles and you decide, what the heck, im going to try a ciggy? And you spit that crap out cause it tastes you just licked a donkeys a&&. You'll know it was more than worth it. :?)

<snip>
As far as the stain... where I work, the mod gets banged around more in the pants pocket. My mods don't necessarily "leak".. but it's more condensation around the air inlet... the shirt just wicks up anything, and left a coffee looking stain on my front pocket... just for our customers to see. :)

Baggies. Cheap sandwich bags. The fold-top kind, not any of the ziplocks.

They're less than a penny apiece and don't really take up any extra room in a pocket.

If one gets a bit goopy on the inside just toss it when you get home and grab a new one the next day.

What not to do?

Blow out a cloud straight at a smoke alarm at 4 am, when rest of the house is sleeping. ( Smoke alarm has been removed from my bedroom these days )

Big clouds on the golf course just before someone is about to hit, cloud drifts over to them as they're about to hit and yeah,, woops..

I Set off a smoke alarm that DID NOT EVEN GO OFF when our HOUSE CAUGHT FIRE with one tiny, well directed MTL puff. I mean I was less than a foot from it (was adjusting the thermostat) but I was IMPRESSED.

Not with the smoke alarm ignoring smoke but getting all up in my Grill about vaping, but mostly with the fact that it was POSSIBLE.

LOL. I totally believe in covering like, smoke alarms in a hotel but MAN that is also unsafe and I would take the shower curtain OFF as I stopped vaping for bed (an exercise in futility perhaps as I do not Wake Once Asleep, but you know, for other folks benefit and whatnot. LOL.

I feel for people who experience exploding batteries. You have to wonder if they knew about amp draw and battery capacity. There's been a fairly low number of publicized case of exploding batteries, so I wonder if they were sold low capacity cells for low resistance/high wattage applications. That, or the mech they bought was poorly insulated or not well designed to prevent shorting of internal wiring.

I suspect that torn shrink coverings may play into some of those. That, and cells dropped in a pocket with keys and pocket change. Mods and especially Lithium cells should go into an empty pocket, with your change and keys in the other pocket.
Loose batteries should always be in a case regardless of where you are carrying them. The silicone sleeves are great for pocket carry. Do agree that the batteries should be alone in pocket if using a silicone sleeve.

Why? I'm an anti-social vaper for 2 great reasons...

1. I can't stand cigarette smoke anymore so I refuse to vape around smokers in a smoking section. Not only that, but too many of them start asking you questions OOOOOOOR, they tell you how bad vaping is for you all the while they are smoking a cigarette!!!

2. I have never found a vaper in real life that I like. They are all like, DOOOOD, you vape!? What falvor are you vaping? What's that tank? Man, I love it, it's so healthy, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

I want to enjoy my vape, not spend my vape time dealing with vapers and smokers ;)

I agree. I carry a plastic snap top battery box with my spares inside. It's always in my pickup console. I've never carried even those in my pocket.

Since I use dual battery mods I've gotten in the habit of just putting in fresh batteries if I'm going to be out for more than 4 hours. Purse gets heavy with 2 setups and a spare pair.:(

I'm all about making sure I have juice and batteries when I leave the house unless I know I'll be back within a few hours. Even then, I'm likely to have new batteries in my mod and a change of batteries in my vehicle ... just in case ... and some juice ... and a screwdriver.

I'm getting slightly better about vape break down paranoia when leaving the house. I keep a rta emergency kit in the car: snips, coils, q tips, wicking, scissors, ceramic & pointy tweezers, charging cord, coil rod, tri tool. In my purse 2 setups, 2 juices, q tips, tri tool, and wick.

I'm trying my setups to be smaller when out and about. I loved the Evic AIO. Depends on how long I'm going to be out, but I'd rather have a USB charger/passthrough in the car. My Ford Ecosport has two USB ports 2 A in the front console, ready to plug a battery or to let me vape plugged in.
