Duh. What was his score on the IQ test?

Might as well link to "woman dies drinking water in radio contest." Darwin rules.

Man - 1000% agree with that - I just posted this last night about this type of thing as it relates to being overly protective and giving people the idea that the world will be padded for them so the responsibility of self preservation can be ignored -

I say this as no joke - There is a thing called natural selection - People that would have noramally died of their own stupidity are now living to reproduce - damaging the natural order and fouling up the gene pool - I know that sounds harsh - But give it some thought - We now put stickers on meat that say:

HEY DUMA$$ - COOK THIS BEFORE YOU EAT IT - IT'S RAW MEAT!

WOA - Given to him by the school - WTF?
The nicorette FAQ says clearly -

    Can teenagers buy Nicorette?
No, the sale of nicotine to a minor is prohibited in the U.S. Since the active ingredient in Nicorette is nicotine, the sale of Nicorette to anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited. Persons under 18 should speak to their doctor.

Are the rules that different in the UK? - Here in the US they can't even give kids an aspirin at school anymore - As to your point - That's Big Pharma - They put the $$ out - They can do what they want -

Yea - I understand where he got it from - Did you read the first line of my post?
The quote was to point out that it is not intended for kids to begin with - Pretty sure it also says that on the box!
Are the schools allowed to give drugs out in the UK?

 oops sorry - living proof I cant read and talk on phone at same time.

They point is who gave it to him and the fact that it is unregulated and marketed to children in fruity flavors, cinnamon surge, and often uses animation in the ads on tv.

Im looking at the positive side of this. If a kid can ingest that MUCH nicotine and live,it probably means we wont be reading about any "vaping OD" stories.
Unless some dummy thinks drinking a 50ml bottle of 36mg is a good idea.
I bet you would puke after the first swallow though.....

The IQ of the 12 year old should not be in question, honestly. Children that age are unable to realize the ramifications of such an action and furthermore they are famous for their lack of reasoning skills and foresight.

I had an allergic reaction to a 21 mg patch in February and narrowly avoided a heart attack. Within moments of placing the patch on my skin I experienced a rash, racing heart beat, and shortness of breath. Not everyone can handle synthetic nicotine and it is, in my opinion, that those who supplied this child with the gum be held criminally responsible
