There was a segment on ecigs last night on MSNBC Hardball. It was supposed to be about the advertising aspect, but quickly became more about the benefits vs the dangers. It was mostly fair, but not very informative. They had some Antz guy and a guy from the ACLU on to debate it, so no one with any real knowledge. Michael Smerkonish was the host instead of Chris Matthews and his closing was also on ecigs and generally supportive in a "live and let live" sort of way.

Jeez, Glantz is a douche:

"When you look at the population data, people who use these (e) cigarettes are actually less likely to quit smoking than people who don't."

"The fact is they're still exposing people to ultra fine particles, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds and nicotine and they're putting all that stuff up in the air too."

It was a good show, worth the watch! Bland glands did his usual dirty deed in front of us, BUT the janitor was there to clean up after him! :applause: Be sure to watch to the end, after the pj boy, obama sign language, etc, he gives a wrap up opinion view and he quotes Joe Noerca "2cheers for eCigs".
The ACLU lawyer is passionate! Please, somebody send him the Drexel, the full Lancet, the long list of studies that even has glands quivering.
I loved how HardBall KNEW, by association with loved ones & friends who had switched over, that glands was lying through his whiskers. He wasn't about to let him get away with that crapiolie on his watch! He let him have his say, to watch him bury himself deeper in his own slime. Loved it!

The Gland is accumulating a whole file of 'quotable' douche-baggery every time he writes or speaks, there is a world of karma creaking like the coyotes acme elastic band.

ACLU? Far out!
I hope they put it on YouTube or somewhere for watching.

i think I found it. Norman Seigel is a rights lawyer. Unfortunately I'd have to listen to Mizz Annoying Glantz. It's called " a hard (or tough) year ahead for eCigs"
Hardball with Chris Matthews on msnbc

The closing that Grimwald mentions is there as well - scroll to the right - first clip - "Will 'e-cigs' go up in smoke"
