Maybe I am the one who is wrong. Just thought the FDA did not deal with tobacco. How could they? They have just been forced recently to hand over their documentation because of the millions of lawsuits. Prior to that nothing was really known about cigarettes or what they were doing to them. As far as im concerned the tobacco companies were free to do whatever, I never heard of any regulations on them.

About cancer, that is a good point. But I still believe that the cancer rates have been progressive. And I believe you can see a big difference in cancer rates in different parts of the world, or even areas. There seems to be correlations to me.

I guess with the ecigarettes. They just might be a threat to business as far as the fda is concerned. Lets face it, an ecig is going to be way more appealing to most people than a patch or a pill.

With all of this, I guess the bottom line is no one knows the future. But we take whatever present knowledge we have now and try and make the best decision we can. What else can anyone do? I just figure to show the otherside of the coin. Its good to look at both sides. I think its pretty easy to just look at all the positives and wear the members only jacket and ride the wagon that says these things are our savior. I simply say they are cool devices. They seem to have good things about them so far, But I am still choosing to use it on some faith.
