Ok got this one finished. I could have very easily just done this to the first one pictured here in the thread but I wanted to move the switch farther up the box. I really couldn`t move it much due to it running so close to the battery/atty connector. But I do like it better there. And that positive battery area. Thanks for all the great info by the way. Cork would be great but I didn`t have any. So here is what I did.

I first coated the area with the liquid electrical tape. Then I had the old electric dart board and inside that the thin sheets of contacts for keeping score there are two of them in there in-between them there is this nice thin rubber sheet to keep them separated. This I cut and stuck onto the electric liquid tape. Stuck the copper tape to that and place my battery holder tube in place. It seem to be working fine and I do believe it will continue that way.
One more small adjustment I made was the negative contact. I just used enough solder to do the job itself rather then solder that spring I had on the first one. It seems to also work much better this way.

This one went much better and seems to have less marks from modding it as well. It was smooth modding all the way. Think I got these down now. Next one will have LED and a on and off switch. But I`m currently down to my needed for other mod parts and that will go to the back burner for future tins. I need to eat more mints anyhow..

Pictures but they are near the same.

Thank you all for the comments. Very much appreciated.

That mod turned out very nicely! I've still got my empty Eclipse tin and Camel Snus tin staring me in the face every day waiting for my arrival and you've now shown me that it can be done.
Very clean work!

Thank you Shortstuff116. You were so correct on these tins when you mentioned them in your mod thread. They make great mods. I still really like those altoids you did by the way here.

I`ve also had a Camel Snus tin staring at me for a while now.. :)

Off topic I know. But I have about 17 chickens and I just love that pic.

Looks great, Connman. I've got to find some of these mints. I really like the idea of the tube for the battery.
I don't know why I didn't think of this yesterday, bit I've got a small altoids mints tin(not finished) that I cut up a foam sheet to line the tin with. It's width was about the same as the lip on the tin. They carry this stuff in hobby stores & I think Kmart has got it.

BTW, just found out on my way to work, these tins come in 4 colors. Blue, Green, Purple, & a dark, dark red. The mints are good, too.:)

Chickens are hilarious! I miss having them.

If you do a google image search for chick... about 75 percent of the pictures come up of women and about 25 percent of actual chicks. That little "Biker Chick" comes up a lot.

I learned this all last night when I was playing a man.
