I'm loving my RX200, so much that I'm going to buy a second one.

I just tried doing a scottish roll for the first time and stuck it into my Aromamizer. I think it's working, but BAH! with vaper's tongue it's like working blind.

I got another new RDA today. It was love at first sight! I got the alliance v2. I've also put my first ever Ni200 build in it. It's pretty impressive but it isn't half drinking my juice! It's a fairly big juice well but I'm only getting about 5 hits on it. They are very pleasant hits though so I guess I shouldn't complain. My collection is becoming huge.

Also looking to buy the rx200. I'm eating up the battery power in the fortnight old x cube 2. I'll pass it to the OH and upgrade for me :)

When did you quit smoking? I quit-ish on 30th November and I still feel horrible. I'm wondering whether it isn't related at all but after looking up the symptoms of quitters/winners flu, I have almost every single one. The worst for me is insomnia. I'm great at sleeping. I can sleep at will usually but not for the last two weeks. It's driving me crazy. I can taste my juice now. GREAT - I thought, until I realised that all the juices that I loved when I started vaping taste sickly and ugh. ALL e juice tastes sickly and ugh and I have awful death breath. Add to that the aching muscles and constant fatigue. I feel far from the healthy new me I had envisioned. Can this be winners flu or should I be over that by now?

Who was it on this thread that coined the term 'winners flu'? I like it. :thumb:

I had some bad quit symptoms @Waxxiii
Sleeping disorders, vivid Nightmares (that's not nightmares about Vivid e-cigs, although I do consider them to be a nightmare.)
No headaches or similar. Physical 'fatigue-like-symptoms' (that got worse, then got better) and bleeding gums.
I think I leveled out much longer after quitting than I expected.

All that is behind me now. Was it worth it? 100% Yes. I'll never go back to smoking, e-cigs or no e-cigs. :)

You're still inside 3 months since you quit, so yeah, I think it's still the cigarette withdrawal. After you pass the 90 day point, you should be feeling a lot better. If not, then it would probably be appropriate to see a doc; until then, the doc is probably going to tell you the same thing. After running a lot of very intrusive and uncomfortable tests, of course.

Eeep!! All that happened to me was loss of taste and the unfortunate luck of sneezing whilst bending over and pulling my back out (that was the last time I had the flu too). You're going through it quite bad. I've really upped my water and fruit juice intake, and back pain relief pills [emoji12] I quit on 21st Dec, then again on 11th Jan after my 2 day hiatus [emoji28]

Oh dear. I feel quite sorry for myself. Perhaps I should count my actual quit date to be around mid December. I was still smoking a reduced number of cigarettes until then. Maybe I'm going through it kind of hard because I lowered my nic level too quickly? I started on 18mg and am currently using 6-8mg. On the other hand I have read that a lot of symptoms are caused by your body adjusting to the absence of poisons and toxins. Whatever the cause, I don't think there is any point increasing my nic level now. I may as well just get this behind me.

On another note, I keep meaning to subscribe to Zamblebox. Does anyone have any experience with that?

And, thanks for the recent advise. I have decided that my next buy will be the Kbox 120W and Subtank or Toptank Mini.:)

Oh my.. read your first post.. already on page 25... no offence to the other repliers, but I skipped most posts. :)

As far as talking too much.. watch out... I talk quite a bit. :)

My experience has been a bit of the fatigue.. not much... no insomnia, but... things did seem to get worse before they got better. Coughing got a bit worse due to my lungs clearing. But oh, after three months, you will start to get your senses back, and you don't realize how "gone" they really were. My sense of smell went into overdrive... I was in the grocery store, and I could smell the particle board that the register was made of, as well as the Celery the customer in front of me had... I never knew celery could be smelled like that. I could smell the chlorine in tap water, and a smoothie shop 1/2 a mile away as well as the Burger King. My sense of taste came back as well...I am admittedly a whimp when it comes to food that's spicy... but once I got a chicken finger, and it was so hot it made my nose runny... I asked them what flavor these are, and they just said "regular" The only spice they put in it was pepper, and not much of it.

It's not as heightened now as it first was, but I can definitely tell a difference. When I get into a smoker's car, the smell is almost unbearable. I never say anything, since I did the same thing when I smoked, but now I know what I had to put my wife through. Now, she doesn't like Caramel, which is my favorite at the moment. But she likes the fruit type, which is what I vape when she's around.

So I finally get down to setting up my Griffin RTA, and behold another issue arises. One of the grub nuts on the build deck refuses to budge. Yay! Time to shoot another email to the vendor :(

This is the same tank with came with a broken glass tube.
I am very much afraid you have a manufacturing defect. Good luck.

All I can say is that a lot of the 'old' crew (Vapefest 2013/2014) have long since given up on subscription services. Read into that what you will.
I never even started, as I know from wandering around vape conventions/meets that a juice can be as well-intentioned as the genuinely 'decent-people' vaping company behind it and still be not to my taste.
You could try it... 271 days before it might be no longer possible.
Take into account the international shipping too.
You CAN make it pay in your favour, but you have to like more of the liquids than not, and this is where it fell apart for many vapers.

I may try it in the future, before the FDA jump all over it of course. I guess it would be a huge waste of money at the moment since I either can't taste the juice or it all tastes sickly and awful.

Maybe I should have already looked into this, but how is it looking the FDA will affect the vape future? Will high power devices and sub ohm tanks be a thing of the past? If so, I really need a mod with removable batteries. It will be my excuse for buying the Kbox 120W.

What kind of high wattages are you guys reaching? I almost burned my mouth off at 55W. I could imagine getting much higher. It must be a HOT vape.

I vape at 10- 15 watts and 7 watts on my protank. can't imagine vaping at 50 watts or how damaged you throat would have to be to handle higher power. but their is no one right way to vape we all do what works for us. as long as it keeps me off tobacco im happy

I vape at about 120 watts. It isn't actually all that hot. Certainly hotter than 55 watts but I find it still pleasant.

My current RDA is awesome at keeping the vape cool because the build sits quite high and the side airflow is just next to each coil :)

Tanks always get hotter though because the it's a more confined space inside the coil and the airway is generally smaller.

I don't think the FDA is going to do much. Oh, it'll be a PITA, and utterly destroy a multi billion dollar industry. But it won't stop vaping any more than the War on Drugs stopped drug abuse. Gear will still be available from China, we just won't have the convenience of buying locally. Possession will not be outlawed, just sales. And yes, the vape gets hot in a hurry. I rarely vape above 50 watts myself.
