Effects of Ohms to Power

I am using a 650 mah battery. I see that there are numerous cartos, tanks, etc with variable ohms. I just bought a vision nova v2 3.5 ml tank that is 1.8 ohms. I previously used a 2.4ohm CE4. With me switching to a lower ohm does it make my batter last longer or shorter? thanks for any help you can provide.

It will last shorter but it will perform better..

generally the ohm wont affect battery drain unless your using one of two things... a higher ohm with a higher voltage and that depends on the mod, the second being a dual coil cartomizer. but even with those the battery life lost is usually very insignificant and most wont notice unless they are very heavy vapers. what the change in ohms will do on a standard 650mah battery is effect the vapor production, taste of the juice and sometimes even the th you feel.

as it should the lower resistance(lr) which is usually anything below 2.0 ohm was originally designed to simulate higher voltage vaping on standard batteries.

On a fixed voltage device, lower ohms equals shorter charge life, higher ohms equals longer charge life. Dual coil, triple coil, or octuple coil...doesnt matter.

Shorter. Lower ohms means more current shorter battery life. Use to be an a Ham Radio operator and an Electronics tech. So far it looks like when the element is about to fry the resistance drops. But for me low resistance has not made more vapor. I think it has to do with the size of the filament and how many. Just a theory. I've only done a post mortem on my Ego t vape so far. My Provari cart is higher resistance but the vapor is better than my Big Cartmorizer with a lower resistance. Some of that has to do with feed I'm sure.
