Hi there
I am new to vaping and had some questions about the effects. I am 18, and never really smoked cigs. I've always been interested in smoking and had a few cigs, but tried hard not to get hooked because of a bad family history. I believe vaping is much safer, so I took it up before getting hooked on cigs.
I'm vaping 12mg, and I can definitely tell a bit of a difference when vaping. After vaping 5mins+, I get a little bit dizzy. It's not a bad feeling at all, it feels good. Almost like a really light light buzz from drinking. I was wondering if this is normal from someone who doesn't use nicotine? or am I imagining things?

@Bonnie C I kind of like the feeling it gives me though, but is it stil technically a bad side effect?
The feeling will go away then your body will crave the nicotine, trust me, it's no fun being addicted to nicotine. You would do better to vape 0 nicotine if you just want to vape.

Yes, for someone that doesn't smoke / use nicotine those would be expected effects. It is a symptom of too much nicotine being introduced into your system. Consider them warning signs not " it feels good ".
Light headedness, headache, nausea & other digestive/intestinal discomforts are not too far away from those you mention.

If you just have to vape, I'd recommend 0 mg/ml nic or 3 mg/ml nic liquids at most.

PLEASE, do yourself a favor, a huge favor, and if you're going to vape use Zero nic. If you need a buzz, take a couple of shots of whiskey, but please don't get started on nicotine. Trust me, it's an addiction that you don't want to have.

@fitzinthewindow I have heard this from many people. I certainly believe it is not a good addiction, but what about the addiction is bad? I just don't understand because I'm not addicted, could you help explain

its a pain in your wallet, and seriously ruins your chances with the ladies.

Agree 100%

Picking up smoking was by far the worse mistake I made in my entire life. For me it happened very quickly. I didn't know I was addicted at the time, but in retrospect I had a nicotine dependency after smoking for 6 weeks.

Please listen to all of the advice above, and do not vape with Nicotine.

Think about it this way, do you want to be in control of your body? Or do you want a chemical to control your body? That is what addiction does.

You do not have to take my word for it, but there are people on this forum, even after being diagnosed with Lung CANCER, that were still unable to give up cigarettes because their addiction to nicotine was so strong. You heard that right! They were dying from cigarettes, yet still were unable to quit.

That is how severe a nicotine addiction can be. Please do yourself a huge favor, and don't take another step in that direction.

That is how addiction works, you dabble with the substance just a little bit, and before you know it, you have a dependency on it. And even worse is that, say you get addicted to nicotine, and you are able to quit, you may have cravings for the rest of your life!

There is nothing ok about any of that.

Oh... and I promise you, that crappy little 5min buzz that you are getting now is not worth it!!!

Most vapers on here use nic in the ejuice to get rid of cravings for cigarettes. Most, if not all, rue the day they started using nicotine. I will not tell you how to run your life, I will only say I wish I never smoked. Will vaping kill you? I don't know?. Is it safer than smoking, I think so, some don't. Only reason I do it is I know it will kill me slower than what I was doing with tobacco. I'd rather see people start vaping instead of smoking, but if I could do it all over again, I'd do neither. Do yourself a favor and stop with the nicotine juice while you can. The buzz you are getting will not last long. And then you may end up with a long term addiction. I started smoking as a teenager and 20+ years later I still struggle with nicotine every day. If I could go back in time I would have never started. It's your life and you can make your own choices. Addiction can take away your right to choose, or at least makes it very very difficult.
