Like the others said, you will know. Because the vapor has larger molecules you really are not vaping and getting as much nicotine as you did when you smoked. I'm sure it is still possible to vape to the excess, but I've never had an issue and I only vape when I'm awake.

Yes the higher the nicotine in a juice, the more intense the throat hit. I like intense.

I vaped the Atlantis with 3 mg nicotine and got an awesome nicotine buzz! The level of nicotine does not matter, it's the device. I vaped the Atlantis at 30w with a 1mg juice, still great nicotine buzz. RDA's same thing but even a little more intense depending on the build.

Unless you're drinking the liquid I wouldn't panic about overdosing. There will be symptoms like dizziness, nausea, getting lightheaded etc well before you'd be in any real danger. That said, if you're experiencing these things, it's still not good. Lower that dose. Especially if you're dripping. Most drippers, from what I've read anyways, use low doses because it's a more efficient delivery method for the nicotine.
As for the dreams, I don't know that vaping would be connected to that. But it's entirely possible. Myself though, my dreams have been screwed up for years so I don't know what effect vaping really has on dreams.

I think it really boils down to the person, not the method. I vaped 12mg in my clearos and vape 12mg in my dripper now. On occasion I'll even drip 30mg, though I can make myself sick if I do that too much. Lol.

Basically if you get nausea, light headedness, headache, etc, try not vaping for a bit.

Sharp stomach pains, like little pointy knives jabbing all over your abdomen -- feels like gas. Then nausea. Actually anytime I've vaped enough to make my head spin, I know it's too much, since I haven't gotten that sensation from cigarettes in nearly 40 yrs.

The effects of nicotine are vastly exaggerated by the vaping community, especially by those who never smoked and who want to bolster their low self-esteem and look bad-..... by bragging about phoney drug effects without using actual illegal substances. The cloud chasers are the worst. Nicotine will not make you high and it won't give you a buzz unless you get too much of it and that buzz is not pleasant, not in my experience. A buzz from nicotine is always accompanied by nausea and tinnitus in my experience. I don't like either symptom.

Not necessarily. I get light headed if I vape too high of a nic content, similar to the first effects of alcohol, but it usually only lasts a minute or too.

Same here, but if I don't stop vaping that high level when I feel the head spins, the next thng I feel is nausea. I'd far rather stop before that point! :D

Nicotine can make you very sick, if you partake of a greater amount than your body has learned to tolerate. But so can caffeine, aspirin, certainly alcohol, etc.

Interesting historical tidbit: in the medieval and renaissance times when poisoning was common, people would "homeopathically" ingest tiny amounts of the usual poisons, in order to build up their tolerance -- so that any poisoning attempt might not be lethal.

Can anyone tell me the effects of nicotine? What will I feel when the nic hits? How do I know if I am OD-ing? Please I need real life experiences so don't wiki or Google it.

Did not read any of the other posts so as not to bias but my input would be elevated heart rate and blood vessel constriction which can be symptomatic of many other issues. It can also cause anxiety and nervousness.

If you think you are "ODing" you are. Back off your nic level or decrease your intake. Just a suggestion of course.

Can't OD now.... broke my vape and went back to analogues coz I'm stressed like crap. My state is seriously flooded and right now I'm hoping it doesn't get to my house.
