I just started using mine. I bought 2 of them in mid July. I use only PG liquids that appear thin. I'm using them at 3.3-3.8 volts and so far so good. What is everyone else vaping at? (voltage)
I mostly always stay around 3.7-3.8 , not really a lover of higher voltages myself. My juices are 80pg/20vg.

That is the question.
They last.

I did manage to burn out one, but it was from testing and abuse.
I either retire them from too many drops and cracking or separating from the base.
As long as there is no abuse on the coil (from dry burning wrong or some liquids) you should
see that you retire them from poor performance rather than a dead coil.

When I dripped on atoms, I would toss after a month max.
I am following that procedure with the CE4....it is so nice to get a fresh coil when it happens.
Almost like a treat or something:)

ohhh, and I normally stick with 1.8ohm at 3.3 max 3.7v

I thought that cinnamon and citrus juices were the tank killers, but cola too? pear? what else do i need to watch out for?

Yeah, there is a few with super high ethyl alc content that does the trick.
Those we sell in glass.

As for eLiquids, there really isnt too much, since our overall flavoring %;s are lower than most desires.
The Hot Cinn would prob be at the top of the list, but is still about half or less than most other sites.

So far it was mtn dew and rum & coke that have clouded them. Both still going strong with old tip and different juices in them.

Really liking these. Ordered the 2.2ohm coil replacements to use next. Whenever the original ones crap out??? How long do these thing last?

I've been using these since Rob first put them on his site in June and I haven't had a head fail yet. They are stilll the best clearo I've ever used.

At home I usually use 3ohm boge cartomizers in a tank with my Provari. My to-go egig is a variable volt ego with these CE4's. I am still using the 1.8ohm coils. How would a 2.5ohm replacement coil work for me?
I've tried the 1.8, 2.2, and the 2.5ohm and they all work good :) My favorite is still the 1.8

I bought the 2.2ohm ones, but still haven't tried them yet. I'm waiting for the original ones to get weak or crap out. I'm just curious because I love the 3ohm Boges in tanks and I keep thinking I might like the higher 2.5ohm ones also.
That's the thing....I STILL have some original ones that haven't crapped out yet either and I got them A LONG TIME AGO ! I have to say these are one of the best products I've ever tried. They last and last. I've used them on my ego type batteries, my provari and my box mods. They are work horses for sure. Very dependable, for me at least :)

it took me 6 weeks, but i finally killed a 1.8Ω coil!

i rinsed / dry burnt it yesterday, and it was fine all night. got up this morning, it flooded, blew it out, flooded again, blew out again, then when i put it back together got one dry hit and poof. dropped another 1.8Ω coil in same tank, and been going like a champ all day and not a single flood.

this is the first one i got from Rob, like 6 weeks ago, and has been filled with either my all-day (usa mix) or my alternate baccy blend (50/50 vanilla cupcake / 222) ... and most of the time it has been on a twist @ 4-4.2v ... i think if i had let it dry overnight instead of trying to burn it dry, it would still be going today.
