There are so many eGo type batteries available, I have to admit I've become a Joytech snob. At least I know the vendor is stocking a specific item and not what was the best bulk deal coming out of China that week. I'm not so picky about Vision Vivi Novas, although a lot of people are.
My opinion is that you need 2 batteries, a charger, juice, and then as many types of small delivery systems you can afford. A kit that comes with a vivi is nice, but what if you want to try another flavor? One that comes with clearos is nice too, provided you don't use any "tank cracking" juices. I'd like to see kits come with a vivi, a pack of CE3s (small, and apparently can survive strong juices), a clearo, maybe a Kanger, whatever - you never know what you will like and it can be frustrating if you are limited to only trying one flavor at a time.

I agree with The Ocelot. Regardless of which PV you decide on any 650 mah+ PV opens up a whole new world in regards to the delivery systems (holds and vaporizes the juice) available which can truly enrich the vape experience. Even after 1 1/2 yrs vaping reading thru these posts still makes my head spin 
I don't know if this helps at all but thought some measurements might help...
I've just weighed my 650mah ego batteries with an atomiser attached and it weighs about the same as a 30ml bottle of juice. This was an approximation as I had the PV in one hand and a bottle of juice in the other, but it felt very similar.
The measurements are:
- about 13cm in length (including tank, atomiser and battery)
-about 13mm in diameter at the widest point (the end furthest from your mouth)
By comparison, A 510 weighs about 10ml of juice (again, a rough estimate)
Using a longer battery (280mah), with SR boge carto and drip tip the measurements are:
-14cm in length
-9mm in diameter

No not all of them are i made that mistake the hard way but i think most are do you have a certain model in mind?
The only thing I'm sure about is that I want an eGo...
