ego battery dies quick

I hook up my EGO battery to the charger when it blnks around 10 times while vapping. Now everything looks normal when I hook it to the wall charger, light on charger turns red and in a few hours the light on charger is green and the EGO light is also flashing ,is that normal? Now when I start vapping again it starts flashing 10 times again in about 10 min and does not heat up the atty of course. Any ideas?

I guess start with double checking all of your connections on the charger as well as on the eGo. If it's ONLY happening with this one battery then I'd guess that batt is bad. Maybe are getting a false "charge complete" report. Also try a different addy.

Be curious to see what you've done already and what you find

yeah, I have a Riva eGo battery and it died, it wont light when i put it on charge and its only a month old

Also, is this battery a Riva? or eGo?
Riva's do blink if used past their shutoff time. I believe its 10 time's too.
Let it sit a bit (maybe a minute) and press the button to see if it will heat the atty. If the light doesn't go on, then get in contact with the vendor you got it from, and see what they have to say.
Also, if this is a Riva, you have to look very cloely to the instructions on how it works. (ie; the blinks, shut off time etc..)

My ego batts do not blink after charging. Sounds like a bad battery.

I would like to know what the color LED is on these.
Is it a white or blue? and Is it on the button or a ring around the batt that lights up?
There is a reason why I'm asking.
The Riva's have the ring around the battery I believe. I do know the T-Rex does and if the button is what lights up, then that is made by Bauway. They aren't the best batt out there and are a clone eGo.
The REAL eGo is by Joye and has the white LED on the button (or in it).
Plus the Joye is only 650mah and 900mah.
The Bauway is 650 and 1300 mah and are known to NOT work any more after the first intial charge.

I have a Riva and it does not have a ring around the button. It has a rubbery feeling button, and a single blue led behind the button. No ring. I believe that the one with a ring might be the T-rex. I've two Rivas that I bought a couple of months ago, and had no problems with them at all.

Its a t-rex, blue ring light. I think its gone, now it won't blink at all, and of course won't charge. Oh well.
