ego battery problem?

Ok so I have owned my ego-t for around 5 days w/ 1000mAh batts

ok so my battery dies(blinks a bunch then turns off) so i charge it, but every 10 seconds or so , the LED on the charger turns green for like 1/4 of a second then goes back to red.

Help?

I have that battery too. The blinking red to green is fine. Mine does that also. When the battery is fully charged the light will stay green.

oh ok thanks, was just unsure if there was a problem. i hadn't even been paying attention to it before today

Welcome , and my EGO charger did that as well , nothing to worry about . Just wait for it to stay green , and it's fully charged .

This is normal operation. When you see the green light blink, it's the internal electronics switching from charging to measuring the voltage, then it switches back to charging. When it detects 4.2v during that green blip, it will stay green and charging is complete.

It's a "smart charger" instead of one that just uses a timer.

My eGo T's do this as well. My mother's Blu's do it too. You'd see this on newer 510's as well. It's all a part of the smart charger setup, as DaveP said.
