eGo battery taking a long time to charge

I've had these batteries quite a while now (about a year) and they still hold a charge well. I get about a day's worth of vaping out of each of them. The problem is, they take hours to recharge. We're talking 7 or 8 hours if they are drained until shut off. Is this just because of their age? I'm using a 420 mah usb charger. I'm getting ready to purchase a mod with replaceable batteries soon, but these need to last a little while longer.

Saw this while perusing yesterday:

the most important component in any kit , is the battery which is meant to last you about 6 months minimum, depending on your vape style

You can try a new charger maybe, and thoroughly clean the post area of your battery.

I thought it might be the charger, so I ordered a new one a couple months ago and it made no difference. I can live with the batteries taking so long to charge, I'm just hoping it's a battery issue and not the charger(s). I'm looking to pick up the eGO-T Upgrade with the replaceable battery and hoping I'll be able to charge it with my usb charger until I can get a better one.
