Hi, I have just realised on my first cleaning of my Atty head on my EGO-C that inside the spike where the wick is held. There was a buildup of a silicone like jelly substance. I pulled a piece out and fogured it must be from my soft caps. (Maybe from spinning the tanks while it is inserted?) I'm not too sure, any feedback or tips would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hey I had this happen as well, for me it was obvious from the second it happened because it tasted like burnt plastic, I recommend cutting out a pre punch hole before inserting the spike, dont make it to big or it wont seal properly. Sometimes if I did not pre cut the hole the spike wouldnt even puncture the silicone. Good luck

Thank you so much for the tips. I surprisingly have not even gotten the slightest bit of burnt anything taste.. But what did end up happening was all the silicone that gunked up in the spike came loose back in the tank, thus clogging in and almost running my Atty dry. Its also how I became aware of the issue. But as far as dry hit or anything expected from an issue like this, none were present.
