Hey guys! I just got my eGo-C today and I absolutely, positively love it. I just have one tiny issue with it. It seems that there is a bit of leaking from the cartridges, and I can't seem to nail down why that is. I figured it may be that it is not flush against the atomizer head or that there is a hole in the cap somewhere, but I can't seem to figure out why. Has anyone had this issue or do they know how to fix it?

Thanks guys! I am absolutely loving my first venture into vaping!

It's because when you draw, you create a vacuum which draws in the juice. Draw too hard and you flood the atomizer which means it won't vaporize as well and will leak. The coil in the atomizer is supposed to have a thin layer of juice on it. It's not supposed to be swimming in it.

You could also try switching tanks. The cap on your tank might not be making a good seal. Another possibility is that the wick is too low in the atomizer. You can get a toothpick or paperclip and try pulling the wick up a bit so it seals the needle better. However, this can cause it to not wick properly and you'll get dry, nasty hits.

I got tired of playing with my Ego atomizers and putting up with the finickiness of them. Eventually I just got some stardusts and I love them. When you're ready to buy more atomizers, give the stardusts a try because they're the same price as the atomizers.

I don't know the best price in the states for them, so you should look around. This is what they look like. They have the graduated lines on them. On this website they're called Vision Ego Clearomizers. You can also get them in low resistance.

Vision eGo Clearomizer 2.5-2.9 Ohm

Oh, you won't need the cone. Once you have this, your cone, atomizers and tanks will be gathering dust. This is all in one. Just screw it on to your battery.

What exactly do you mean it's leaking?
It's filling the cone or it's coming out of the cone?

If you let the level get too low in the tank it seems to flood the atty with some juice consistencies and when you draw you suck it into the cone. It's not really leaking, it's flooding.
Of course it could be leaking and you wouldn't know the difference other than it doesn't leak when the tank is filled.

I have this problem with Johnson Creek Tundra. If I refill as soon as I can see air with it turned upside down all I get is condensation. If I let it go much below that I get gurgling and a cone full.

It seems I can go lower with thicker juice. But I saw someone on here saying thicker juice leaks more for them. So who knows.

Thanks for sharing your story! It sounds like you have exactly the same issue. It seems right when I get near that "flip-upside down" point, I start to get gurgling and leaking. It could also be the cart, but I'll definitely just make sure to keep it way topped off from now on.

I got mine and haven't had a leak issue so far.. I have been popping the cartridge in with the ego - c upside down and pushing it on the atomizer till I hear the snap sound of the atomizer piercing the cartridge, turn it once or twice to make sure it's snug..

Sent from my Epic 4G Touch running CM9

That might be it! The carts I got with my eGo-C already have a hole pre-drilled into the bottom.

Also, for anyone else reading this, I do see liquid pulling up into the mouthpiece when it starts to leak. That's what the gurgling sound is. I have lost quite a bit of liquid from the cart so far. However, when I do pull from it, it works GREAT! Lots of vapor.

With tanks, it's a good idea to prepunch the holes but if you don't do that cut out the 'chad'. Make sure cap is fully on the tank it does 'snap' into place, and then fully seat the tank onto the atty body so there's no gap to the edge of the tank and the edge of the atty body. The only other problem would be the wicking - and that can either be to far up the spike or too far down. That would take some experimenting. Also I've found so far that with the A type (cone shaped) atty bodies with the eGo-c - the hard tank cap is better than the soft silicone ones. Some have found no difference though.

A lot of the tips for the t also apply to the c:
