If not I'd say it's fill level or technique rather than a leak.

I had the same problem with my egoc too, it seems the solution is long, slow draws (mine last about 4-5 secs) and as MYK said earlier, as soon as you can see an air gap between liquid and cone with the unit upside down it`s time to top up.

Keysesoze don`t replace the carts just renew the silicon end caps every 3 or 4 refills, you can get packs of ten caps for about the price of one cart. The end caps are the part that take all the abuse when you refill.
yeah i saw the caps, gonna a few packs of the caps, and probably 5 more tanks. just trying to stock up on stuff now so i dont have to reorder every month.

However, I've read a lot of threads It seems that, besides the draw issue which has been highlighted in this thread, there are three other main causes for leakage. First, a poorly punched tank (this has been alluded to in this thread). Second, a faulty atomizer. The fault is usually that the wick is not set properly (i.e., either too high or too low) in the atomizer spike. Third, a faulty cone/base setup (which needs replacement). It sounds like you have solved your problem, but if you are still getting leaks, don't be afraid to change/fiddle with your atomizer.

It's all about the draw with the ego-c. When the tank gets really low even slower long draws and you won't get a flood. Or simply refill the tank works too. When they're low there's more air in the tank and it takes less pressure to draw out the liquid. The other main reason is if you chain vape on an ego-c you'll end up with condensation in the cone and it will also leak out if you place it on it's side.
Some people like the soft caps some like the hard caps. Personaly I like the soft caps, they're easier to take off and put on. They last me a long time taking them on & off quite a few times. The key to keep them good is to not pop them down in the cone fast but to ease them down in it so you don't mess up the hole.
Once you get used to an ego-c it gets pretty easy & hassle free to use. I think it took me a few weeks before I had it down with out any issues at all. I kept falling back into the habits I had when I used a cart. They just vape a little bit different than others because they use gravity AND air pressure to deliver the juice to the atty. Cleaning the atties is really easy too. There's a number of threads about it in here.
It's a great system once you get used to it. The cleaning of the parts since the cone comes apart is one of the main reasons I love the ego-c the most. Along with the easy of use of the tanks. I hated messing with the carts & clearomizers myself. I have better things I could be doing than maintenance on one of them. Speaking of cleaning, the hole in the bottom of the cone is small and can get clogged with some liquids. Hot water and blow threw it or stick a sewing needle threw it to clear it. That hole will get clogged after a few leaks and won't help with learning the right draw.

I've got 2 of the new Ego Cs Type Bs with the 2 ml tanks, and I love them. I haven't had a problem one with them and they deliver great flavor and vapor. In fact, they deliver better flavor than anything I have, including my VV Mod. I've had Ego T tanks before and learned how to get the best out of the tanks. One thing that hasn't been mentioned here is not taking the caps off of the tanks and filling them through the hole with a syringe. You can get the level of the top of the juice just perfect so that air bubble in the tank will work for you. It's less wear and tear on the tank, and I think it results in overall better performance. The tanks should fit tight and SNAP into place for a good seal between the tank and the atomizer spike. Personally, I've never had an issue with the wick placed improperly or too long or too short. As others have mentioned: slow and easy draws result in greater flavor and vapor with less problems of any kind. Bluntly, I think that the Ego C type B is a winner.
I haven't taken the cap off of a tank to fill in years. I do take the cap off to thoroughly clean them though. After awhile, I got tired of having to replace the wicks all the time and started using an Ce-1 rev5 XL more, but I want to get back to the ego-t type of tank. I did pick up a few of the stardust carts but am still hesitant about the ego-c.
tom10 - thanks for the observation, I might just pick up a couple C's but in the B type. I always used the A type before because of the smaller size, but I have always liked the idea of a bigger tank, but that means that all my Type A tanks will be useless. Now I am not sure which one to get.

I wouldn't mind the 1ml tank if it had an actual 1ml of useable liquid. By the time you get the bubble to start with and the left over before it starts leaking it's about .5-.7ml of liquid useable in a carefree manner.
I recommend you fill the tank on the ego - c with a syringe, it's 1ml for sure usable.. It's a great device and if you need more liquid to be filled in the device get a clearomizer and complain about that leaking or cracking... Every Ecig is gonna have an issue, but I have a ego c and have yet run across something that would stop me from recommending it to someone else other than a faster way to fill the tank, which takes all of 1 minute.

Uhh, I do fill out of a syringe and I am a fan. I know it is not a full 1ml useable because I fill out of a syringe and if I fill the syringe to 1ml the tank gets too full.
I don't have an empty tank right now but I do have one ready to go. A full tank with a bubble big enough to be close enough to carefree starts out with .8ml of juice. The amount it takes to leave in the tank without having to worry about flooding is an easy .2ml. That gives 6ml of useable juice in a carefree manner.
I didn't say there was anything wrong with the eGo-C, I simply said I'd like a little more room in the tank.
I've used the A and the B on the Ego T and I can tell you that I greatly prefer the B. These are the same tanks that the T uses. The extra convenience of additional capacity alone is enough for me to use the B. I started with the B tanks when I bought the Ego Cs, and I also opted for the larger batteries (1000 mah) for the same reason. I like to spend more time vaping than messing with the equipment. I've only ruined one atomizer since I got these, and that was with thick, dark juice that gummed one completely up. I should have known better. Now I save the thick, dark juices for use with EMDCCs, and even they don't like it very long before having to be cleaned. By the way, the last 5 B tanks I bought were $7 for genuine Joye tanks, and that's all I buy. Overall, I've had great luck with Joye components lasting a long time and giving good service.
Just fyi... I fill the tanks full to the top without a problem - even did this with the t's - and so far haven't had leaks with the A attys on the c. I'd occasionally would get some leaking at the end of a tank on the t's - but when that happened you have to stop the flow through the spike by either pushing the wick down (with the c it would be easier and might be better to push up from the bottom on the spike but again, haven't had to do that).... or restricting the flow through the spike by adding more wicking - not much though or you'll choke off the wicking process.
