I know there's a forum for battery problems but apparently i have to post in the new members forum 5 times.
so anyways, i bought the eGo C-twist 1100 mah and my charger says 4.2v.
When I screw in my vape into the charger, the light on the charger is green and the light on the vape is on but blinks every 2 seconds. When I unscrew it, it won't turn on but my other vape of the same model still works and charges normally.
HELP PLEAASE!!

If it's still under warranty, I'd get with the vendor you bought it from. If the other battery is doing fine with the same charger, something must have gone south with that particular battery.

Far as those "blink patterns" go, nobody seems to know. I had one arrive DOA from a vendor who is registered with Joyetech and everything is Joyetech branded, my charger included. But even the vendor couldn't get Joyetech to explain the weird blinky dance the battery did when I put it on the charger. May have been a language barrier thing but either way we never found out what the heck the battery was doing. The vendor swapped it out immediately, only asking Joyetech out of curiosity. I've Googled the daylights out of it and can't find any explanation of the blink patterns. They have to be some kind of "diagnostic code" but Joyetech doesn't seem to publish them.

Goofiest thing. I'd put the battery on the charger and it'd start doing this long-short pattern of flashes and the charger's light blinked with it. They had to be saying something, I just don't know what. :)

I've had all kinds of issues with batteries and chargers from both Joytech and generics. Sometimes the head on the battery gets pushed in just a hair and cannot make the "right" connection.. I use a knife to pry it up a little. Sometimes it gets gunk on the battery or charger threads.. it looks really minor too, but it messes up both and confuses the battery. Sometimes I screw it on too tight, pushing the battery head down. Sometimes, it's the charger.. I'm on my 4th.. I always keep two working chargers now, after learning a hard lesson in not having backups.. I do 3 batteries too..

I'm seriously thinking of going with the provari soon.. I'm spending WAY too much on replacement batteries, and I've only been vaping since Feb. this year.
