Hi, I am new here and new to vaping. Tried the elites and similar but not enough vapor or throat hit to keep me off the real thing. I have been told the eGo twist would be a good option has anyone tried one ? I also want to use prefilled carts as not ready for filling myself yet. Just so frustrated with trying to find the wright thing for me so please help anyone. Need advice on pre filled carts the best ones to use also.

I agree completely with Scoper50. Not only are cartos simple to fill, the prefilled ones are costly! I am a few weeks into vaping and have an eGo 650 and an eGo 1100 Twist. I like them both for my cartos, they are easy to use and the twist allows me to dial in the exact vape I want. I also use clearo's and only use the twist with them, not enough power with the 650 manual

I use 2 Twists (a 650 and a 1000) and they're great. Having said that, I've already (after 2 months) got the need for gadget upgrade . As far as cartos go, I love the vape off the Boge LRs but I just find the constant topping up and the fact that I don't know how much juice I have in them a pain in the ..... Vivi Novas are way more convenient.

I just got mine... the 1000Mah one. Its a LOOOONG beast, but works very well. I havent yet tried any prefilled cartos, so cant comment on that, but I will say the vivi nova works very well with the twist. Only complaint I have is the length, and if I'd have researched a lil better, I prolly would have gone with the 650mah to avoid looking like I have a bazooka hanging from my lips :)

Hi! I also have 2 Twists and 3 regular eGos. At first I couldn't tell what all the hype for the Twists was about, but at the time I hadn't been vaping for very long and couldn't taste many of the juices. As my senses of taste and smell improved it became apparent to me that different juices tasted better at different wattage, and with variable voltage flavor, TH, temperature and vapor production can be fine tuned. I like LR, which actually works fine at the constant voltage of a regular eGo, but I get a much better experience at 3.7v-4.0v.

I should also mention that I have both the 1000mah and the 650mah ego twist. Both of them work great. But I'm already thinking about getting another 650mah because the length of the 1000mah is a little bit much for me. I've found that the 650 will last me all day at work, including the drive to and from work. It usually dies towards the end of the day though. I'm not a chain vaper. At work I'm usually using it for 5-10 minutes each hour. At work I like to use cartomizers. If you use a cartomizer with a black drip shield (just for looks), It's about the same size as a skinny cigar. I actually hold it like a cigar, and from a distance I people are none the wiser. It cuts back on people approaching you asking questions, or making dumb remarks.

IMHO, Ego Twists are for everyone. I'm 5 months in and I still use mine a lot, even though I have other stuff.

I imagine lots of people have them somewhere for backups even after they've moved on. the 650mah is the perfect size, not too long, not too short, and will last you about 5-6 hours if you are not heavy vaporer. a 1000mAh is good for home, will last all day, 8-9 hours, but takes a while to charge as well.

Non twists are fine too but as you start to order a lot of juice you will just notice that some light stuff is fine at lower settings, but some heavier bakery stuff is better at 4.0-4.8 and that is what VV is for.

It's also a good way for a newbie to LEARN about what exactly VV is all about.

I vape a pipe and use a tank with it. I have 7 tanks. I also started almost immediately making my own juice. But filling a tank with a juice I never made before was costing me time when I didn't like it because I had to pour it out and re-clean. So i got a twist for drip-tasting and it worked out so well, that I have used the little tanks that came with it for vaping some of my juices. The really sweet ones replace desert very well. So, even if you end up getting tanks and larger mods, you will not just shelve your twist, in my opinion. It will still be good for those juices you don't want a whole lot of at a time... And you CAN put tanks on it as well.

Hello Lizzy - welcome. I have ordered the eGo Twist - I hope it arrives today! I purchased it after a ton of research and some advice from helpful ECF folks. I think even if you don't keep using it as your main gear forever, I am convinced it is one of the most flexible set-ups around for noobs like us. I hope it works out for you.

Yep. I love my twist, but I want to upgrade. I live the vivi novas on my twist. This combination has kept me from going back to analogues.

Thanks to a friend I broke into vaping with a provari mini ... A friend of mine that wanted to get into vaping but didn't want to spend the money I did went with the ego twst 1100 mah and his works great. I tried it and I vape at 4.8-5.2 on my provari and his ego which was a fraction of the cost works wonderfully. The only downside is the recharging. You can't vape and charge at the same time and from what he tells me to go from dead to fully charged takes quite a while.

Also in regards to pre filled cartos I suggest going to valleyvapes.com they have tank carto setups reasonably priced and they are super easy to fill(the ones that have a nut/bolt looking thing going thru the tank) all you do is unscrew and fill with a syringe or syringe Tip bottle and replace the cap and your done. I myself was alittle intimidated by them but after a few videos and doing it myself once or twice I was totally comfortable with it.

Hope this helps
