I also got a 1000mAh Twist today and so far I love the thing. I've noticed that if I set it to 4.8 I get a burnt taste. I need to get some carto's with a higher resistance. I've found the sweet spot for most of my liquids to be around 4.0 +/-

If you are looking into a ego battery I would suggest picking one of those up over the standard ego's. They are priced very reasonably and you get the variable voltage option.

Also it would be cool if they could add a passthrough somehow if they release a next generation. A VV passthrough would be something I wouldn't think twice about buying. Not sure if a VV passthrough is possible

Be pretty tough to do a PT considering the Pot is on the end of the Batt to adjust the voltage, but would be cool if they could do it, I just dont see how unless they moved the pot up to the top under the connector maybe.

Time to jump back on the eGo bandwagon, fo sho!

I used to have 1000 mAh eGo batts and have missed them sorely since selling them on the classies. Then I heard about the eGo twist and couldn't pass it up. Dropped an order to Goodprophets for the 1000 mAh version and a charger and got the goods in yesterday. Charged it up, slapped my Stardust on it, and I'm a happy camper!! Love this thing! Gonna have to get another one to switch out with.

The new egoc upgrade PT, set for unregulated, would probably run 4.0 for you.

    Got my 650mah Twist yesterday.
I'm now a convert to the wonders of VV.
The thing works amazingly well, constant from first vape to dead, and easy to operate.
I'm glad I went with the 650mah as it is almost exactly as long as my 1100mah Kgo. Any longer and it wouldn't fit comfortably in my jeans pocket.

510 or ego-threaded top adapter. Screw it on the connector like a charger, have a wire running from it to USB, screw carto into PT adapter. I don't know of any like this that exist but it should theoretically be completely doable.

Chris, although, on paper, KGO parts are compatible and interchangeable with the standard eGo, 510, Riva and Tornado model atomizers, cartridges, and batteries, I would recommend that you only use the charger that comes with the KGO to recharge your KGO batteries. Get a genuine Joye fast charger and a wall adapter to charge your Twist--they are not expensive and you need a spare charger anyway! :)

    Better safe than sorry! :)

Will the charger I got with my KGO kit work on the Twist?

Also, will the cones that I got with the KGO kit fit on the Twist?

This is the kit i'm referring to:
    SLB KGO Starter Kit

I use the same ego type charger on my kgo, ego,and riva. I've been doing that for over a year without any problems.
Yes the cone will work on the twist.

KGO charger does not work on my Twist.
It works fine on my twist.
As a precaution I ordered a Joytech charger with my twist. Both the Kgo and Twist chargers had the same specs stamped on them: Input 5vdc, output=4.2vdc 420ma so I figured it was safe for me to use the same chargers on both batteries (kgo, twist).

So now I have a spare charger for when one goes kaput.
