I just wanted to say I got the 650 twist in yesterday and am just loving it!! :)
I am just using it with an 808 adapter and all my prefilled cartomizers I already had (definitely makes them better!) And using with my own juice purchases and finally really understanding that sweet spot!! Love it! Love the flavor, the vapor and being able to dial it to where I like! Awesome!!! This is like vapor heaven to me!

Okay, so when I got the usb charger for my twist, I just automatically thought it is to plug in to computer. Then I got to thinking........wonder if that is safe? I only have a laptop and when I plugged it into my laptop, the red light came on, but every 4 seconds there was a flash of green. I only had it plugged in for about 10 minutes and I felt the usb charger and it was quite warm.

So, I unplugged it so I could double check. I called Nhaler. forgot who answered, but he told me since it got warm and was flashing best not to use computer. I then asked if it was safe to use my wall charger that I got with my IGO along with the 420mah usb that I got for my twist. He said that should be fine.

Well, I plugged into the wall and the usb part does the same thing >comes on red, but then flashes green every 4 seconds.
I touch the usb and it is only slightly warm.

So, Next I decide to use my original wall and usb for the IGO to see if that little green light flashes and if the usb on that gets warm at all. I plugged in my IGO And it does get warm and flash green too then back to red. So, question: Has it always done that and is that normal and i just never noticed on the IGO?

and more importantly!! for my new toy, is it safe or do I need some other wall charger? I thought I had read that people have even charged the twist with Volt wall wort and V2. I just want to make sure what I use is safe. So, please let me know if I need something else, should it flash and should it get warm?

Thanks!! I can't let this baby run outta juice! I like it too much!!

Yep new toy jitters:) The fast chargers 420mah or better will flash in my experience. The ego batteries come 95% charged most of the time so it is close to being full charged is all. It will gert warmer as it is feeding alot of power into batt quickly. I use a wall charger from walmart with dual ports rated at 5V 1.2A. The trick is to have equal or more output from the wall to the charging unit.. The charging unit will adjust the feed to the batt if it gets enough juice to do so.

The light on the Twist flashes 4 times when first connected to the charger then it stays off.

The light on the charger is red and flashes green every 5 seconds or so as it checks for voltage. It progressively gets more green as it completes the charge and steady green when fully charged. It gets hard to determine when it is near fully charged. You have to watch for more than five seconds to see if it changes color when it flashes.

My 1100mah pass-through, with the same charger, flashes 3 times and then stays steady blue. The light on the charger stays steady red until fully charged, then green.

It seems odd that the charger behaves differently but I guess it is determined by the internal circuit board.

I hopes this helps you.

Anyone ever had this happen ? I have a white Ego Twist that apparently got a few stains from another Twist battery I have (Red). I guess this happened while in my Ego case. I've tried getting the stain off with baby oil, finger nail polish remover, but nothing seems to remove it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion. It can't hurt to try.

IDK if they have changed the paint since back when I used to do this but when my old ego batteries paint would start to chip I would just scratch it all off with a key or knife or something and the battery was stainless underneath. If you can't get the stain out and would prefer stainless over white with red faded stripes its worth a shot.

Ok, so here's my chiming in. DO NOT CHARGE ON A COMPUTER. I'm sure people do, but I highly recommend against it. Most computers don't have the USB amperage to cover the high draw your charger will take, and you could damage your system. I do tech support for a well-known computer company (you're probably using one of our computers now), and I can definitely vouch for this. I use a USB wall charger, plugged into a lamp timer. This allows me to set how long I want my battery to charge before the USB wall charger loses power and shuts off. Haven't had a problem in my 3+ years of vaping. But if using the USB on your computer doesn't damage your computer, it could damage the battery. I loaned one of my old 650 egos to my mom's boyfriend, he left it plugged into his laptop only to find it the next morning 'sploded all over the desk. Not a good idea. This is why I use my lamp timer with my wall charger :)

Thanks for the tip on the timer. I never thought of one of those. Great idea!

Thanks for the suggestions on getting the paint off of the white ego twist. I tried a product found at Ace called Goof Off Professional Strength (About $4 for a small can). It worked very well.

I just purchased a couple of 650mah and 1000mah Ego Twist to use for travel...I going to be using a Notcigs M1A1 tank from Notcigs...my question is which Cartomizer would work the best to use on the Ego-c twist with this tank setup and where is the best place to get them.

Note! I use Boge SR 3.0 with the this tank when using my IPRO and BUZZ....I'm just not sure about what to use with the Ego twist. Thanks

Does anyone know where they are selling these in the pass through version at a decent price? I am looking for a 900mah black.

There are no Twist passthroughs. Where the usb port would be is where the dial and likely the electronics for VV are. Best you can do is the eGo-c "upgrade" batt - which when connected in the "vv mode" (not true vv), it will give you 4.0-4.2v underload... which is where many people keep their Twists :D

https://www.cignot.com/product_p/egc-ubt-all.htm

Cignot only has the 650 and 1000 but no need to get the 1000, if you're going to stay hooked up... but here's a 900 upgrade:

When I googled it something came up from Alibaba but I think it was the ones you are talking about.

I am using the SR with my twist which is the same thing I use on my Provari. That is one of the things I like about the twist. When I was using the regular eGo I needed the low resist cartos for it which meant I had to keep two types of cartos in stock. Now I only have to worry about keeping one type stocked.
