Sure that is another option but then you need a charger and a tube of some sort to hold the batteries and to screw the delivery device on, not everyone even highly experienced vapers want or need a power device with removable batteries.

One time up front cost (charger - $15) that in the long run will save a good bit of money, performs better and last longer. The twist batteries are just way over-priced.
