Hey everyone. Just joined and was hoping i could get an answer to a eGo-C question. I bought it about a month ago and have read articles about the tank having a hole that needs to be punctured by the atty. The tanks I got just have a complete empty hole in the bottom and I see nothing to puncture, and it goes through e-juice like there is no tomorrow. It tends to leak a very small amount of e-juice just at the battery end, like a few drops. Is this normal or did I just get 5 tanks that have a defect?

Thanks for any info.

yes, that's pretty much normal for those tanks. My suggestion would be to put those things in your nearest recycle bin (they can probably be of better use as something else) and get something like this...

FLüXomizer CE2 Cartomizers - GotVapes.com that has a better track record.

I had pretty much the same experience as you with those tanks. Not great but they were workable. I only used the ones with the end caps that needed to be punctured and like I said they were OK. Maybe there's a slight difference in leakage problems between the 2 different end caps.

Kay1959 has some great advice. Since I bought the fluxomizers the tanks are in my junk box.

Also take a look at the Stardust clearomizers. They work well too. I use both the fluxomizers and the Stardusts.

I concur. Ditch the tank and get some decent clearomizers. The Fluxomizers and the Stardust are the best choices.
The majority of Ego-t and eGo -C users do it sooner or late when they tire of the drama of dealing with those tanks.
You might as well save yourself the frustration, get it over with and enjoy your vaping.

It can't be a coincidence that virtually every person who says how good those systems are has only had them for a relatively short period of time. Almost nobody ever says they've been happily using their tank systems for six months or a year.

Empty holes that do not need puncturing hmm that sounds like used cartridges . They should still be good but maybe get some soft caps for them . I found too when I bough some ego-T knock offs that the needle plate on them was a smaller diameter so the cartridges I had where loose in the needle plate .

Thanks for all the replies. I do like the look and feel of the eGo-c, just hate the way the mouthpiece works. I checked out the clearomizers and the Stardusts, which I may go with, they look cool. I am still kind of new to this, and have been vaping for almost a year now, and started with the gas station starter kit. Worked well for a while, but decided to upgrade. So, if I get the Stardusts, which ones does the eGo-c use? 510? 808 or ??

All the eGos and kGos use 510 connectors.

This kit comes with two Stardusts and 2 batteries, case, charger, etc. Probably cheaper than the eGo and stardusts separately.

Remember, if you get an eGo-C kit, you're paying extra for that mouthpiece and atomizer system that works so bad. You're also getting batteries that are only 3.4 volts, and maximum 1000mah. Why do that? Just get a stronger battery that looks just like the eGo and performs better. Save the $20 or so that the useless tan and atomizers will cost you and buy a handful of clearomizers with it. The ego battery is nothing special. That's why they slapped that junky tank system on the end of it. If they didn't, it would just be an underpowered kgo.

Problem is that I already bought the eGo-c kit a month ago, and I don't want to get another kit so soon. (And not buy a kit at a kiosk in a mall, I did get ripped off after seeing the prices online) This is why, for now, I would just change to some other tank, like Stardust or clearomizers.

Thanks again for the info, I am starting to get all this e-cig lingo sorted out.

I know that a lot of folks do not like the eGo Tank system
I do. it's simple, direct, I can change flavors easily, and for me, it just works.
I have used carts, 510, 808, eGo. low ohms standard ohms high ohms.
I used drip atty's
I have a 3.7 box mod, eGo 1000 batteries, and a VMax.

Of them all the eGo Tank type B works well for me. I do replace the hard end caps afet about 5 to ten uses of a tank. I rotate fhrough 5 tanks. I use the eGo C rebuildable atty.

Luckly there is room for a lot of diversity amongst our community.

IMO YMMV
Find what you like.

I agree, I would like that better. It's too hard to snap off that little cap of off the tank, and you tend to get e-juice on your fingers, and in the last few days, it's hard to snap the tank back in. With the Stardusts, I can only find 2.1-2.4 ohm range. I don't see anything with less ohms on the site. Would that be ok for my battery?

Oh, man. I'm sorry. I somehow got the impression that you had just seen it and were considering it. Yeah, just switch to a Stardust or something. That's the hassle free way to deal with them.

Just FYI, the 2.1-2.4ohm Stardusts will work ok for your battery too.
