I have the eRoll and absolutely love it. I upgraded from a cartomizer cig alike to the eRoll, and I love not tasting the cartomizer filling. I had no idea the clean taste I could get without a carto until I tried the eRoll.

Anyhow, I'm working on my wish list for my next upgrade. I'm wanting something like the eRoll or better in flavor and vapor production.

I was thinking Ego-C, because it uses the same atty, which is convenient for buying parts and I'm thinking the flavor should be similar to the eRoll. What do those with more experience think?

Is the eRoll the Ego-C's mini-me or am I comparing apples and oranges?

And is springing for the Twist battery worth it? So far I've been happy without VV, but other posters who brag about their awesome VV devices have really been piquing my curiosity lately.

Not everyone can taste the filler in cartos, but I can and it does make a difference! :thumb: Glad you found out.

The only thing compatible with the eRoll is the coil unit for the eGo-c system and then only the 'A type', not the B - although they would fit, just that they're intended for the B atty holder and tank for the eGo-c.

I'd hold on to the eRoll for those times when you want something smaller and get either a couple of eGo-c 'upgrade' batts or eGo-c Twists. VV batt use differs. If you are still looking for flavors, then having a VV and a dripping type atomizer and drip tip is a good way to go early on. Get a 2.0 or 2.2Ω atty - regular 510 or 306 atty which fit the Twist and then just change voltage to where the flavor tastes the best. Usually stronger flavors - tobacco, coffee, menthol, etc. will need more voltage and lighter fruit/berry/vanilla flavors require less voltage.

IF you've already found the flavors you like, then the VV isn't as necessary. Find the right ohm atty/clearo that fits the 3.3-3.4 regulated voltage of an eGo-c or use the eGo-c upgrade batt in the unregulated mode - which vapes like a regular 3.7v unregulated batt. So you'll have a bit higher voltage in that mode than the regulated mode. And to be clear - that's the eGo-c upgrade with the better short and charge protection, not the eGo-T upgrade batt.

Highly recommend - once sampling is done, getting some Kanger T-3's (also called Tabac BCC's) for your clearomizer. Less fuss than the eGo-c tank/atty systems and better draw and vapor, imo, than most CE/vision products - although they are also popular around here. If you don't like the taste of filler, stay away from the EMDCC dual coil cartomizers.

Good Prophets and heaven gifts (china) have all the above. Although the upgrade batts may be scarce right now....

Oh I'm not giving up my eRoll. This will probably become my on-the-go PV.

I really just want something to use at home, something that holds more juice and is more chain-vape-friendly. :)

Thanks for the advice!

Yep - eGo-c upgrade batts (you'll need an eGo charger) with T-3's will get you there. Surggest getting a few of the T-3's with the 1.8ohm coil (comes with them) and get a pack of 2.2Ω replacement coils for lighter flavors. I've found the 1.5 coils too hot and the 2.4/2.5 ohm coils to cool for most flavors, but ymmv on that.

Depending on any size considerations, the 650 Twist won't last as long on charge (at 4v and above) as the eGo-c upgrade batt. Just a regular eGo-c batt would do just fine as well but the upgrade has two modes and in most shops, they're the same price as the eGo-c batt.

I started with the eRoll and found that I needed a longer than I'd like draw to get a good vapor. I then went to a 510 battery and carto and was impressed how much better it was than the eRoll.

Enter the eGo C Twist and WOW. Night and Day from eRoll. Clouds upon clouds of smoke.

And I do recommend the twist. Depending on which carto I use I very it between 4 and 4.6 volts.
