I honestly haven't played with the eGo LR attys, so I can't speak to their lifespan... but my guess is that their LR attys probably die faster than their regular ones. Whether this is accurate or not will take the opinion of someone with more experience with 'em than I've got. All I know is that I haven't yet had one of their standard attys die on me (although I've gunked one up pretty badly by a poor dark-colored juice choice), so who knows. :p

I bought two LR (1.7ohm) eGo T type B atomizers over a year ago. They averaged about a year life each. But considering that I was swapping between 2 e cigs the whole time, that would put the life at half that, or six months. Used them on mostly fully-charged RIVA 650 mah batteries, close to 3.7 to 4 volts. NOT the much safer 3.3V of an eGo battery.

These were $10 each from Cignot, and had NO warranty. So maybe the warranty doesn't always mean anything.

I know if I were selling them I would be extremely nervous about a warranty because you can't control how they are used. Run dry ? Run at 5 or 6 volts ?

What if some idiot keeps misusing them and returns 10 in a row under warranty ?
100 in a row ? People like that are out there.

Different question- same device (didn't want to start a new thread for a simple question):

I just got my first ego type device today (an ego-c); Is it going to leak with the tank system on letting it sit upright on it's flat end (vertical, with tank in the air)?

Just curious. Thanks!

No it will not.
