hihi,

CE4 burnt taste?? i been getting burnt taste using CE4 carto.
Why?

Do u have the one with the short or long wick? If u have the short one u always have to make sure the tilt it properly to saok the wich or u will easily burn it hence having the burnt taste

dont throw it away, wash dry and dryburn it and it will be almost as good as new, search youtube.

Had both the short and long wicks....
And gotta admit, the longer wicks give better flavour and never had burnt taste....
Alot more consistent in flavour and vapour too...

Maybe the rubber cap too tight. Try cut a nick on it to loosen the grip on the wick as to allow more liquid flow

I've got the long wick version, and am getting a really hard burnt vapor coming out (worse than a dry cartomizer). It can't be over-used, as it's only 24 hours old. Never had this issue with the short wicks.

Any thoughts?

Possibilties: thick juice, silicon cap on the ceramic cup too tight.

These are caused inherent problems with top coils as they work against gravity.

I think that the juice might be abit dense than the other wicks...Correct me if I am wrong...but do try ways that you can so that you wont get the burnt flavor itself...the long wick itself takes a minute to get the juice settle than it can be ready to vape....so yeah

Thanks for the replies! How do I check the silicone cap? Also, this particular tank was working fine, up until about 2 hours before I originally posted.

Follow-up... After posting, I topped it off, and let it sit until I got home from work this afternoon. Still really bad burnt taste coming from it.

You might wanna check out the resistant of ur clearo, cause if ur pv kit you are using has a high voltage power and the clearo is low resistant there would be a burnt smell...you might wanna check that out

I don't have a way to test the electronics, but I'm using an eGo 1000mah passthrough battery, if that sheds any light on the equation....

When you buy any clearos next time , check what resistant you are ordering first ...when you mentioned that you use ego, I think that the clearo you order is near DOA thats why it got that taste....You might wanna checkout the person you buy it from or email they about this

I contacted the vendor, who is local, and they're going to take a look at them, as soon as I can get down there.
