I have been using the Ego-E2, aka Rocket, aka Apollo, for 7 months.
I purchased mine months before they became available to the US market.
There is a learning curve with this system but once you've learned it, you'll
never have any more issues with them.
The gurgling/bubbling issue comes from over saturation of the double wick,
a little wick ontop of the main wick.
Once removed the atty can breath better. This is also what causes the leaking
that and not seating the atty right and threading it tight enough.
Once you have it seated and threaded right, you've removed the little wick from
the top, the system works like a dream.
I recommend cleaning once a week with 190 grain alcohol, leaving the atty
submerged in it for a day or two. Remove from alcohol and do a short dry burn,
short bursts untill the coils fire up red. Then you will be ready to vape again.
I keep extra sets, some always being cleaned in alcohol while I'm vaping with
the others. Rotating out the sets ect ect.. This prolongs the life of the atties
and ensures consistency.
I have tested a lot of systems in the past 4 + years and has watched the e-cig
from the early days turn into what they are today. I have used nearly all of the
types and sizes. regulare and veriable voltage.
It is my opinion that the Ego-E2 is a very good system and very consistent.
Hands down, one of the best I've ever tried.
Pro:
The tank is very sturdy, dropped and banged around and keeps coming back for more
unlike other chart/clearomizers that have shattered under less stress.
Con:
I will say this, keep it out of your pocket or at least away from keys and such.
Keys can act as a bridge between + and - and will cause the battery to rapid
discharge. Damn near ruining the battery. I brought one back to life after such
event and it has been working like a champ since.
I rate the Ego-E2 5 out of 5.
