Does it seem like a sturdy well constructed tank? Hope these do well cause I'll try them out after a few good reviews, but I am limiting my experimentation due to costs and just chosen the E3 for now.

I guess it could be coming through the wicks, or the top part which you would of tasted if that was the case. Could they leak from the bottom of the E2 replacement innard? 5mls would have a bit more pressure than the E1s had. Never had a E1 so don't have a hands on understanding of the design yet.

It's well put together, that is definitely not an issue. The atomizer cylinder actually screws into the base so I know it's not leaking there. I'll try it again without the extra wick that lays on top of the coil and I may even try trimming the wicks. Vape is great but doesn't last for long because of the gurgling.. Even switched out the atomizer cylinder and still had the same issue.

To anyone reading this thread and thinking about getting an E2 clearo tank. It doesn't fit the Lavatube. Even the LT with the Ego end cap.

I bought an unsealed shorty adapter from madvapes to make it work. And everything fits OK. But the battery is not making a connection to the tank.

I know the adapter works because I tried it with a simple 510 atty, and it worked. But the adapter is for the tank. I'm either going to saw off the bottom of the skirt on the E2 tank to make it fit without the adapter...or send out another order and buy some 'sealed' adapters that madvapes also sells to see if that works.

This new tank has been sitting on my desk for nearly two weeks and I can't use it. No biggie though...I have other Ecig toys and goodies.

I have been using the Ego-E2, aka Rocket, aka Apollo, for 7 months.

I purchased mine months before they became available to the US market.

There is a learning curve with this system but once you've learned it, you'll
never have any more issues with them.

The gurgling/bubbling issue comes from over saturation of the double wick,
a little wick ontop of the main wick.
Once removed the atty can breath better. This is also what causes the leaking
that and not seating the atty right and threading it tight enough.

Once you have it seated and threaded right, you've removed the little wick from
the top, the system works like a dream.

I recommend cleaning once a week with 190 grain alcohol, leaving the atty
submerged in it for a day or two. Remove from alcohol and do a short dry burn,
short bursts untill the coils fire up red. Then you will be ready to vape again.

I keep extra sets, some always being cleaned in alcohol while I'm vaping with
the others. Rotating out the sets ect ect.. This prolongs the life of the atties
and ensures consistency.

I have tested a lot of systems in the past 4 + years and has watched the e-cig
from the early days turn into what they are today. I have used nearly all of the
types and sizes. regulare and veriable voltage.

It is my opinion that the Ego-E2 is a very good system and very consistent.
Hands down, one of the best I've ever tried.

Pro:
The tank is very sturdy, dropped and banged around and keeps coming back for more
unlike other chart/clearomizers that have shattered under less stress.

Con:
I will say this, keep it out of your pocket or at least away from keys and such.
Keys can act as a bridge between + and - and will cause the battery to rapid
discharge. Damn near ruining the battery. I brought one back to life after such
event and it has been working like a champ since.

I rate the Ego-E2 5 out of 5.

I bought the E2 a week ago and was quite disappointed because it gurgled and spat e-juice from day one. I tried removing the loose wick on top and I even trimmed the wicks but this didn't help to stop it from gurgling and spitting. Yesterday I was messing around with the wicks again and by chance the right side wick broke off. I put the loose wick back on and also put two extra wicks I still had laying around on top of the loose wick. Funny enough this seems to solve the gurgling and spitting and the E2 works like a dream now..weird
