the end of the battery where the carto goes on ,has a small hole inside that contains a vacumn switch, since the battery is automatic this is how it activates. eliquid that gets in there could damage the switch as cause it to fail. Anthony had one battery come back from a customer that said it wasn't working good , when he pulled the battery apart it had about 3ml of liquid inside the battery, and it actually still worked? just a very hard draw,this customer had a habit of filling the cartomizers on the battery , hense the problem

it won't ruin the carto the battery will be the part that will be subject to a problem of a leaky carto

It's HERE! I rec'd my IGO today!!! (does anyone else automatically think 'Igor' when they see that or is it just me?!) Anyway - LOVIN' it..............so far! I especially like the tip. That Go-Go was a little wide - who needs lip wrinkles?! It's a little on the long side, but I'm going to start pretending that I'm Audrey Hepburn - I need a new image anyway - always good to shake things up! Tex and Bill - I SWEAR if I start having trouble w/this unit I WILL change my sign on name to Black Widow so say a little prayer!

When I got my kit - one battery was fully charged and the other about 3/4. I used them both all day and when I plugged in the first battery in the evening - I am thinking it took about 2.5 hours. The second charged during the night so no idea on that one.

Mine came from cropduster901 (very good service) - it's the 808. Not sure if any yet has the 510. The LED is blue on mine. Really bright at night - have to shield it a bit

Cropduster has the 650 in silver and black. The 1300 is black with red LED. Cropduster901.com

The ECHO starter kits I have are black with a 901 connection. The LED is blue.

You can get cartos with 808 and 510 connections.

Do both the manual and auto batteries have LED on the ECHO? To me the LED is a big negative...much harder to be stealthy.

The ECHO battery is auto. I don't think they make a manual right now. The LED is big though so stealth is probably out unless you are using a 650 and hold it in your hand so you can't see it.

We need to educate people so vaporers don't have to worry about being stealthy. But that is another subject.

We were talking about the led on the end of the battery. There isn't a good reason that I know to have them except on the autos it lets you know they are working but you can tell that by the vapor. I don't think they take much of the battery juice though but I don't really care for them because you can't stealth vape at night and the red ones make it look like you are smoking.

I don't disagree but it's the only way you know the atomizer is "on". I would prefer a small led near the ring that would be easy to cover if you need to be stealthy. I have not had any issues however - I just cup the end of the Echo the couple of times I needed to be discreet - does not matter how you hold it as there is no button which is nice.
