I used the Joye eGo for over a year. It is tried and true, and it got me off cigarettes. I would not recommend going with anything labeled as a "tank" system right now. Too many issues and the flavor is meh. However, do get a couple 5-packs of 510 cartomizers (cartridge and atomizer together) and a couple of small bottles of e-liquid whose names sound like they might appeal to you. There have been a number of suggestions to reputable vendors by such as Nikongirl, Swedishfish, and Boodle. Vaporking is also good. Start with the basics first. And welcome.

1000Volts - I gotta vote for the eGo. I am a noob also and started with a Super Mini e-cig which was not bad but the battery life was lacking. The second kit I got was an eGo from Liberty Flights and I love it. I am a very moderate vaper. I usually don't pick it up until after lunch and then again in the evenings. The 650mAh eGo battery is perfect for me lasting all afternoon, into the evening and part of the next day before I need to charge the battery. If you get the eGo kit you can use 510 atomizers, 510 cartomizers and even the new eGo-C tank system if you decide to later. Most all the big juice suppliers have 510 parts in stock so you can pick up some attys or cartos when you order juice. Hope this helps. :2cool:

I feel compelled to say that in the time I have been vaping and on the forum I have seen new products come out and they get raving reviews....for a while....then the problems and less raving reviews start showing up - from seeing that I now wait a good long time before I consider trying something new.... just my 2 cents.....

Well guys, i just ordered the kGo. I mainly ordered it because it runs at a higher voltage. With prefilled carts, i have to watch which kind i get, but if i ever start filling my own, then it would be rather easy.

With the kGo + four extra prefilled carts and the 12forturkey coupon, i paid only $48.
Cant wait for it to arrive and ill let everybody know how well it works.

Keep on :vapor: guys/women. =]

No clue but congrats on your purchase. I'm sure you'll love it. Don't forget to get some cartomizers and some juice.

Hi 1000Volts. Did you get the Kgo? That is what I have. I am on Day 14 of vaping. I probably went through the same stages as you did; feel free to PM me any questions. On Day 1, my throat burned like crazy. On Day 2 of the Kgo, I stopped getting the sore throat by the evening.

Get some cartomizers. They are much better than the cartridges that come with the Kgo. I tried Boge, which were nice, but then I went back to Hoosier and got the Smoke Tech XL Dual Cartomizers dual coil cartomizer and I like those better. You can try Hoosier's juices too, they are okay, just pick a flavor you think sounds good. I would get some 18 mg. and some 11 mg. I bought his Dekang RY4 juice, and at first I didn't like it but now I love it. It tastes nutty and sweet. I also smoked 1/2 a pack a day.

Good luck!
Sandy

Because I got burned with the ego-T's. I wait more than a couple days now to pick up something new. Seriously, there should be a rule or something that no one should review a product until it's been out more than 6 months.

I agree. I've got a new ego-T including a low-res atomizer and it's just not good. At least in my opinion...

I have an Ego C. I have heard complaints about it but I haven't had the same experience. In the beginning it leaked but that was my fault. I fixed it and now it works great. I use atomizers until they are dead then get a new one. I bought mine from Vapor Kings. My best suggestion is to go with a supplier that will offer a return in case you don't like it. I bought an Apollo Tgo also, that is a good brand also. Works great, the atomizers aren't as cheap as the ego's but they are easier to replace and the company is real great. Good luck!
