Thanks, Drozd, for the info.
I guess wil switch to AW 16340 for my Super T1.

no problems...sorry if it came across as harsh....and by the by...the same goes for a regular AW 16340...and a high drain IMR 16340...if you have the IMR use the IMR...

all told though it's a world of difference using a battery that will easily handle the amp draw of the LR....

the wattage produced at true 3.7V too will seem more like a HV device too...it's 9.13W at 3.7V versus 6.41W at the 3.1V of the eGo..

Is there anywhere to get this (ego starter kit) for cheaper than that? I will search around but would love some advice!

well janty has the warranty on it...but tons of other places that carry the eGo warranty and what all is included in the kit are variable...there cignot, nhaler, HG, hardassvapor, TW, dietsmokes, word up...I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting

There are cheaper kits out there (not much),but it's hard to beat Janty's warranty. And so far,I'm satisfied with their customer service. They have ALWAYS answer any question I've had & answered all posts I've made here concerning their products. I for one, will pay extra for good customer service, regardless of the product.

Do I buy all my products from them? No. But, if I want quick service on a product they carry, they are my "go to" supplier. I can say nothing negative about Janty USA.

Thank you & good morning ; )

I'm assuming by this that they took care of your battery issue then?...

I agree for the price point on the eGo I think it's worth the slight extra for that nice long 6mo warranty

I started vaping about a year ago and loved it but fell off the horse after I ran out of juice/got tired of trying to make carts work/kept running out of battery power when I couldn't recharge. FYI - it's much harder to re-start vaping than it is to start :) I have a 510 and love it, but needing to charge batteries constantly sucks. Also have a 901, but meh...

So I just ordered a Joye eGo from nHaler yesterday. I got it from nHaler because it's around the same price as anywhere else, but you get a normal atomizer, a low resistance atomizer, and a drip tip(if you're still messing around with carts, just do yourself a favor and drip :p). Also ordered several juices. I can't wait to try peanut butter cup and sleepy time green tea. Ordered some InnoVapor ULTRApure 36mg regular too. From reviews I've seen, it's the closest stuff to an analog so hopefully it will help me kick my Camel habit... again.

I'm looking forward to a 510 that can vape all day and easily fits in a pocket. I'll let you guys know how the eGo/Tornado helps a lapsed vaper get back on the horse.

I think the Ego with the LR atty just might do the trick. Can't say enough about this device. However, if you are feeling like you still need a little more kick I would recommend high voltage device such as the silver bullet. My two primary devices are the Ego and the Silver Bullet. Anything else is just extra for me, these two devices meet all my vaping needs.

Yes,Ethan contacted me & the ball is rolling. I didn't mean to give the impression that I was down on Janty. I've used Janty almost since I started vaping. The manufacturer is who I was referring to when I said "they could do a better job". I still prefer the Joye brand over any others that I've tried.

I couldn't agree more, this drip tip is awesome. I didn't get my eGo from Nhaler. I did get the drip tip from them from them though.

Thank you Domino!! You have definitely helped me tremendously. I think I'm just going to stick with my eGo and the atty's for it as well as the regular carts. I'll play around with fillings but I find I prefer dripping. I am very interested in making my own juices so I'm going to get me a kit for that. Otherwise, while I would love to try other devices, etc., the whole point of this for me was to quit smoking for my health and save money. I'm going to make myself stick to what I have with back-up batteries and atty's and hopefully, my own juices :). Again, thank you so much Domino...you ROCK!!!

Glad you like the Ego. I'm also glad that the saving money works for you.
I know that I am a vapaholic and I think I probably spend more on vaping
over cigarettes. I just can't help shopping the sites and trying every juice,
flavor and of course, new Pvs. I'm a SICK MAN!
Good luck,
Dave

Got my eGo today, well technically yesterday, and it is AWESOME!! Used the batteries straight out of the box without charging them first and got around 6 1/2 hours of heavy use out of it. The vapor production was consistent the entire time - no trail off of production at the end. It recharged in 1 hour 45 min.

Even though I have seen lots of pictures and video reviews, I didn't realize how small it was. With a shorty drip tip it is slightly shorter than a 510 with a standard cart. The size and shape reminded my wife of a cigar. It's easily pocketable and this is something I was concerned about. Also the finish on the battery and cone is really nice. I got the black eGo and the finish just feels great, not slick, not like flat black paint. The texture of the finish feels a lot like the the "soft-touch" plastics that are used on the cases of some cell phones(like the back of my LG Dare). Really high quality look and feel, like a top of the line pen.

The tip of the battery is flat and wide enough that you can stand it straight up without it falling over. The button on the battery sticks out just just enough to prevent it from rolling away if you set it down on its side. I originally thought the cone was just for looks, but it's functional. There's a heavier draw with the cone on and it makes the vapor feel warmer. It completely prevents juice from leaking from the atomizer too, which is nice for when you are carrying it in your pocket or set it down on its side.

I'm really glad I decided to get mine from Nhaler because it came with a shorty drip tip and a low resistance atomizer. For me, these 2 options added to the eGo make it the perfect PV. Amazing performance and battery life, and no need to mess around with refilling carts or always pulling the cart off to drip. Plus it just looks great!

Love my eGo, as well. Best e-cig model I've tried to date. I wound up buying two complete kits, so with four batts and two chargers, I should be GTG for awhile.

As a sidebar... one day I was hauling a trailer behind my SUV, and had dropped the eGo in my lap as I was backing the rig to where I wanted it. I got out to drop the trailer, forgot I had put my eGo in my lap, and it fell to the ground. THEN... I proceeded to move the SUV. I parked the car and reached for the eGo, and I went "oh... CRAP!" Checked and sure enough, I had run over my eGo!

The battery was jogged a bit askew from the atty connector, but I pressed it back straight, took a hit (expecting the worst), but the thing fired off like nothing had happened! Still working fine, just a little scuffed up, and the connector seems tight enough. I use it around the house mostly, reserving the batts I've avoided running over with an SUV for traveling elsewhere.

So in my unintended durability test, the eGo passed with flying colors.

I just got my eGo today. Now I know what all the fuss is about! Plumes of vapor and as for throat hit, it's great! Not harsh just very "full feeling. More like what you'd get from a regular cigarette. Quite satisfying. Another noteworthy point is that it seems like all my juices (so far) have "come alive". The flavor is just more present. I'm going through some of my retired juices and so far have been pleasnatly surprised with each. The eGo really brings out the flavor. Of course the l-o-n-g battery life is no small matter either. I had gotten so tired of changing 510 batts every 45-60 minutes. What a PITA! It's nice to just be able to pick the thing up and vape instead of picking up my 510 and finding that the battery chose that exact moment to die1 lol Y'all know what I mean. I'm sure. Overall just a great device. So happy with it!

I am currently using a 510 (passthrough only)and a 808 Vapor King (vapor4life) e cig with cartomizers... I'm intrigued with the Ego.... Can I just buy a battery to try it out?
Other questions:
Will the Ego work with my cartomizers with the adaptor I have to convert the 808 to 510 carts?
Will the PCC case I have charge the EGO battery (I realize it won't close LOL)?

What else will I need besides the battery?

Other questions:
Will the Ego work with my cartomizers with the adaptor I have to convert the 808 to 510 carts? The ego threads to either a 510 atty or 510 carto, with adapters you can use pretty much any atty or carto.
Will the PCC case I have charge the EGO battery (I realize it won't close LOL)? No.

What else will I need besides the battery? Get the USB fast charger.

Hope this helped!:2cool:
