eGo MEGA cartos

I received 4 MEGA cartos a few days ago from Vaporking, and I'm very disappointed with them. After reading everything I could find about how they work and watching Youtube demos on the components of these and how to fill them the first time ( I ordered empties), I thought I was all set.

The first thing that I noticed was that the whistletip didn't align with the batty button, so I had to use my fingers in an awkward position. And the th and vapor was poor, but when i screwed the carto onto the batty more snugly, so that the whistle tip would line up with the button, I got great vape and th.

The problem was when I tried to unscrew the carto from the batty, the threaded end of the carto stayed ON the batty....it was broke right off from the rest of the carto!Just sittin' there on the batty... I had to use a pair of pliers to remove it cuz of my arthritic fingerdsand the small size of it.

So I filled a second one, screwed it onto the batty ...and IT wouldn't line up with the batty button, either.But I didn't dare tighten this second one, after the experience with the first one.

Well, it's been a few hours of trying to vape with this thing, with poor results, but as I'm typing I'm vaping the old tried and true attie-cart combo.

Anyone else had this problem with these MEGA ( eGO) cartos?

Yes. I got 5 of them and the 5th remains unused since August when I bought them. The whistle tip will probably never line up perfectly with the battery button. The construction of the cartos makes that a crap shoot. Never over tighten anything to force alignment.

But that wasn't my complaint with them. They just performed very poorly and I don't know of any way to correct that. Sorry.

Ditto. They don't wick fast enough for me. You have to let them rest between vapes. As for the alignment? Forget it. Ain't gonna happen...

Then why do the venders sell them?!!! I'm goin' on the vapor king forum......

Because they got stuck with 'em too I guess. Some people in the forum have reported they liked them too fwiw but I don't see how. Maybe with certain juices they perform acceptably. I don't know.

I stopped using them too because the price just doesn't justify all the possible problems. Don't get me wrong, when you happen to find a good one that aligns with the button and the taste doesn't go south or start tasting like burning wires (even when fully saturated), they're wonderful. I just got tired of paying for 5 and only getting to fully enjoy 1 out of the 5. I drip now and hope one day the Ego mega cartos will be perfected. My hubby still uses them, but I had to move on in order to spare my vaping sanity.

It's the mega Ego carto that holds 2 ml of liquid. I haven't tried the smaller ones (510 mega).

Have some 510 cartos on order. Think hubby would enjoy vaping more with a carto. I might like them too on a regular favorite flavor.

I bought 5 of these, and all worked very well. Four of them lasted for two cleanings (about 6 weeks, all in all). Only one petered out after about a week. Guess I've been lucky.

Having said all that, I've become very fond of dripping lately, and rarely use cartos very much anymore.
