Clear eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer

The wife and step son have been using these....wife's first one lasted 3wks...then she didn't feel it was hitting as good...They just raised the price, as I was paying 2.49/ per I ordered a dozen two weeks ago...so they should last awhile.

you might give them a try if you're paying 4.00/per

If you are posting about these: eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer Round Tip I too get about a week to 10 days out of them especially using a thick BWB juice.

Gotta ask - what battery do you use for them? I use a good ol' basic starter kit eGo and in no way does it give a "great finished look" since it is larger in circumference than the battery.

The clearomizers mentioned are also pretty good but I noticed after a few days they brown up a bit and look a little gross. Even if I use a light juice I get a ring of dark juice that settles to the bottom of that carto. I blow it out before a refill.

I'm using an ego T type batt.

...just for me personally, I tried 'em early on in my vaping experience and didn't really like 'em...to hot and harsh for my taste(might be different for me now)...also, I change back and forth between 4 diff flav(at least) every day and by the time I got towards the last half of a refill, the taste was getting off, sitting in the carto and being affected by the residue of the juice that had already been vaped...but, that's just me...YMMV................

I've used the same one for 3 weeks before it finally died. I don't mind spending the money for a carto that last this long, has good flavor, vapor, and TH. Beats the 4 PAD habit I once had. The only reason mine died was because I was running it at 5V. It would probably lasted even longer on an ego.

I ran one on a Joyetech battery for 30 days just to see how long it would run - a coil died on day 30 and I retired it, but not before a friend of mine took a picture of it with an industrial x-ray. There's a pic of it over in the EMDCC megathread.

I didn't notice MV raised the price - I think vapingzone's EMDCC clone is a slightly superior device and now that MV has raised the price a 5-pack from vapingzone is the same price as the Smoktech cartos at MV. vapingzone's singles are still $2.99 but a 5-pack is $13.99. vapingzone charges more for shipping, though.

I have had 2 die in less then 2 weeks ( both were the mv clear plastic)... the steel/black from both mv and avid vapor have lasted me over a month... I take them to work once a week and blow them out with 25 psi of air to clean out the gunk and juice

I used to boil them but now I just wash them out with alcohol, rinse them really well with hot water (I blow hot water through them 8-10 times) and stick 'em in a 200 degree oven for about three hours.

edit: I don't use plastic cartos - I'm pretty sure you can't boil the clear ones *or* stick them in the oven :)

What ratio juice are people using in these? The juice I like is a 50/50 mix and I worry that they won't wick fast enough with it. I've been using eGo T attys with tanks for a few months, but I'm trying to find something more consistant and cheaper. I've wasted alot of money on juices trying to find the right flavor, TH and vapor production. The juice I've settled on is as far as I'm going for now. I just wonder will it work in the EMDCC, because it is almost too thick for use in my tanks.

It'll wick just fine - my DIY juice is > 50% VG.

But the boiling method does work on these, though? I have the black EMDCCs for ePower...

I have been using mine for about 3 weeks now. Still working fine. I do keep mine wet. I add a few drops after using for a while and have not let it get to the dry/burned taste before I add more juice.

I find they are OK but I have switched to clearomizers/fluxomizers for while at home. I will alternate back and forth. I can carry these cartos on an eGo battery in my pocket and not worry about it breaking and leaking like clearomizers can.

That's the main advantage, isn't it? I carry 3+ flavors at all times with mine with no worries about leaks or spills. Sidenote, I managed to keep a daily-use Mega Dual Coil (black metal) going for 3 months solid. I only poured hot (filtered) water through it once... around the two-month mark. It was a 90% PG mix. I guess about 40-60mL went through that carto.
