Well after reading this comment and your prior comments how the dual carts provide a richer flavor at 3.7 vs 3.2 provided by the ego batteries, I decided to order a KGO by SLB from Hoosier E-cig Supply ( eGo 1100 mAh 2 battery kit ) and 10 of the dual carts from madvapes website eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer . Supposedly the KGO will run at 3.7 to 3.8 thru the life of it's discharge while vaping. (They show a couple demo videos on their website utilizing a voltage meter. It's pretty impressive.)

I hope the carts can handle Red Oak™ Smoke Juice - Johnson Creek . Their Red Oak smoke juice is 100% VG and I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can enjoy their products without prematurely 'killing' these carts.

Got my carts from Madvapes. They look nice... Smaller than I expected.

Bad news though on my titanium KGO order. HooisierEcig Supply bumped their receive date from the manufacturer to 7/23.

Hopefully... Worth the wait.

No, this is much smaller than what would be required and in in the wrong shape. I know what this is - a replacement for part of the working product - an Ego-T Type B tank end.

What is needed would be round - much larger - and typically called a condom. If you go back to the link I gave you - look at the end pieces that are not part of the working product - one round rubber condom for the end that goes next to the battery and one rectangular rubber end for the mouthpiece end. You remove these pieces before using the cartomizer shown in the link I gave you. They are the same size and shape as the ends of the Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer.

No luck here finding something to cover this cart. Appreciate your help with the links.

Probably the condom from an ego mega cartomizer. Orrr you can always get those pill bags that have a spot to write on them, they're about the width of an ego cartomizer (the regular one) and could hold two of them on top of one another. Idk what the size of these are in comparison as I haven't ordered any yet. Deff wanna try em tho next order from madvapes.

Ya know, if you asked in the wanted to trade, buy whatever thread, maybe some kind soul would mail you a few from their mega tank atty's, there are also batt end caps from the ego mega regular cartos that would plug up the batt end. I'll look in my box of stuff and see if I saved any. If so, I'll mail ya some. I'll get to you later tonight. Don't know if you have enough posts yet to get PM's so I'll post here.

Well, the ego mega dual coil is going to get one more bit of praise from me. - My job is weird and I can't explain it, but I have outdoor work days, office days, and sometimes I'm working with customers in their facilities. Today was a day when I had to be indoors around people. Normally, I have a rough stack with me and an eGo battery in my glove box and at least one other mod (often a bottom feeder or a MAP tank or something) on my desk at the office. I almost always have a battery box, spare atty or a couple of cartos, and a small bottle of juice or two.

Today, all I took with me was a freshly filled EMDC and one freshly charged 900 mah eGo clone. No mods, no extra juice, no extra batteries, - nada. If I can trust this set up to get me through 7 or so hours of work, that's saying something. I have some reliable mods, but I would have never considered not having at least a spare batt, atty, and juice on hand with any of my previous eGo systems. I'm pleased with these.

great post! 'my bad(!) ... i most always run my batteries until they are totally dry. i have 5 in rotation ... 2 ego t 900s, 2 kgo 1100s, and an ego clone 1000, plus my ego passthru. so far, i haven't had a problem with these batts, and i've had them since mid feb to mid march. maybe i'd better start taking more care with them ... starting today! i found out that charging my batts for a full 8 hours seems to work better, and i get a longer vaping time from them. maybe i'm doing that wrong, too, but i tried shorter recharging times and found i needed to recharge too often. on average, i'm getting around 9 hours vape time per batt. of course, it varies with the how intense my vaping is that day and the mah on the current batt. also, i don't run my cartos dry ... just the batts! lol

one thing i've recently noticed: i have started getting a sore throat after vaping thru the emdcc's and already lowered my nic levels ... sometimes down as low as 3 mg (6 mg cut 50/50 with vg) and still get the sore throat. i just started vaping without the rubber tip (tip tastes like goodyear radials?). i say goodyear because i'm from ohio. as i think the rubber tip may be part of my problem, i'm going to get some drip tips very soon (aluminum and delrin). also, i'm wondering if my emdcc's need a cleaning(?) ... haven't done that yet. it seems i'm already noticing improved flavor and less sore throat without the rubber tip. i'm getting a little metal taste, tho, from the carto but not bad. okay ... so i'm really finicky!

next on the agenda ... now that i have a good carto to vape from, i'm going to be trying some of the "better" juices ... possibly organic. it's nice to finally be able to taste the flavors!

i've had my kgo 1100s since mid february (my very first starter kit sent to me by a friend who was in china at the time). i love my kgo's!!! i did have to adjust the battery center posts for the emdcc's, but kgo's do seem to work better than the ego's, and, even tho i haven't measured it, the voltage does seem a little higher. when i buy new batts (if i don't go with a mod), it will most probably be kgo's.

right! i think the little plastic baggies the juices, etcetera, come in will do nicely for carrying these on road trips. the end caps seem to work when filling/overfilling a new carto ... to give the juice a chance to soak in good (maybe overnight). if there's still extra juice left, later, it can be poured out the vaping tip end into another carto (what i do, anyway). if anything, the caps might also be good for keeping the filler/juices from drying out, if storing for any length of time ... not sure about that, tho.

I do love these EMDCCs, performance-wise. And looks-wise, they're not too bad on my 1k eGo batt; no cosmetic adapters required. If I had only a couple of e-liquids that I liked, I'd say these are the best for no-fuss/no-muss reliability with eGo batts.

I'm a little uncomfortable with their hugeness, though. Since they do have a filler, they're not like tanks that you can fill only partially. I mean, one does have to soak them enough for proper performance, and these require quite a bit of juice just to get damp, let alone to properly top-off.

These are probably great for travel, work, and those times when you don't want to hassle with refilling. As one who has a less-stringent schedule, and hasn't yet found her all-time favorite flave, I must say that the EMDCCs require somewhat more of a commitment to "one-flavor-at-a-time" than I'm comfortable with.

I think I lean more toward one to two ml carts, myself, for casual, at-home use. (Once I find a juice I can vape around-the-clock, I'm sure I will dig out my stash of of EMDCCs and fill 'em up!)

That is where the eMDCC really shines! Like others have said, it takes a refill or two for these to provide full enjoyment. What's amazing to me is the consistency of it's performance, even after many top offs/refills.

I have five eGo type batt/eMDCC set ups for my daily five fav flavs. Still looking for a couple more flavs. I do my sampling by dripping with either a de-spiked eGo Tank atty or a de-bridged 510.

With the eMDCC, I'm no longer seeking a better vape. This I can, and will, live with for quite a while!

Oh geesh, I didn't even think to keep those darn B tank attys for dripping. Once the wick disentegrated on my last two I madly threw them in the can. But I could have popped the plate and spike and re-cycled for drip. Right now I keep a small supply of little 510 carts and a few 510 attys around for testing new flavors. If I like them in those, then I'm sure to like in the DCC's. Next if they graduate they go into the XL DCCs and then if they are a keeper they will go into the EMDCC's. But Tamster has a good point, you'd really have to be dedicated to a juice to use it in one of the megas. I've got three in rotation right now, hubby has two, and 10 are on order...

My test has ended on my first EMDCC at 10 days and multiple refills - finally bad taste. All I did was run hot water through it and blow it out, and that's all I plan to do with any of them. I'll let it dry for a couple of days and see what happens. If it works correctly - wonderful. If it doesn't work correctly - I definitely got my money's worth at $2.49 each. I'll let everyone know if minimal cleaning puts these back in service.

thanks ... can't wait to hear the result! did you use distilled water? i opened my first emdcc on july 8 & the third one about a week later (the 2nd one was a dud), so i have about 10 days of vaping on that first one now ... still comes out to a great price for these, even after finding a dud. it would be a great price anyway because of finally finding something that works so great in all areas ... not sure what price you can put on that. i finally ordered a drip tip for these yesterday ... can't wait to get it! i guess the "rubber tasting" rubber tip on these would be the only major drawback for me.

i've been using the ego's for about the last 4 days, and, today, i'm back to the kgo's (have them in rotation). first thing i noticed was warmer vapor and more throat hit(!) ... so nice to know it's not just my imagination! when i first got these i searched for them on the internet and no one was selling them in the u.s. it's great to know that there are at least 2 u.s. sources for these batts, now. i'm really going to pay more attention to how many hours vaping i get on the kgo/emdcc combination ... might be a little difficult, tho, as i'm using an ego passsthru off and on, too. i don't think you'll be disappointed with your purchase. btw, that's a pretty good price that hoosier is selling them for. also, i still have 1 kgo atty left that i use for dripping/tasting flavors. out of all the atty's i've purchased, i have to say that the slb atty that came with the kgo kit is still the best (keep going back to it).

oh ... just thought i'd add that the kgo 1100 is the exact same size as the ego 1000.
