Hubby has been using one on one of his ProVari's at 3.7V since they showed up 2 weeks ago (take a day or 2). He informed me that I need to order lower nic liquid...LOL. Keep in mind, we run several flavors in rotation during the day. One of the carto's has had 15ml ran through it since day one and the other has had about 35mls ran through it. Both have not been cleaned and still going like new. Both juices are medium to light in color. I will be ordering more of these in the near future.

Yesterday I put my third one into the rotation. The first two lasted 5 days each before the draw became tight and the vapor production was significantly lighter. They still work mind you, but not nearly as well. I have put them to the side and will try boiling them when I have enough to make the process worthwhile. Even if they had died, I'd still be sold at 50 cents a day. Try that with an analog right?
I originally ordered 4 so I still have one yet to be used.
I am very happy with these. As others have said, it makes the whole process so much more hassle free.
I had pretty much put my Ego batteries to the side and collecting dust before trying these. They have now become my primary on the go device. I just ordered 10 more.
The vapor production and taste is very satisfying and the capacity is good for hours.
The only mistake I have made with these is adding juice when they really didn't need it.
Now I have found my mods and VV's are not being used nearly as much. I'm using these cartomizers 90% of the time.
They pack a bigger punch than the 510 dual coils to me. (and I love the dual coil 510's)
My Ego batteries are 1000mah and I have yet to run them down. I take a freshly charged battery with me in the morning and change batteries the next morning. I am a fairly heavy vaper too.
On a scale of one to ten, I give these a 9.5.

LOL! Yepper, I was guilty in the 'beginning'.

As to cleaning, if you haven't read my Iffy's eGo EZ-Flush, ya might want to take a look see. There are a couple alternate methods besides mine.

Hi. Has anyone used these and echo cartomisers? Just wondering how they compare in terms of vapour, flavour, throat hit and longevity? Thanks

Sent from my LG-P500 using Tapatalk

I've used them both and they are both very good. I use the Echo auto as my main PV so I use the echo standard carto instead of the e-carto. The dual holds more juice and produces a little more vapor but I prefer the flavor and little cooler hit of the Echo. I like the looks of the echo much better being as it is cone shaped and the dual is cylinder shaped. As far as longevity I think if you clean your cartos the echo should last longer being as it has bottom horiz coil and the filler can be removed for cleaning and dryburning the atty. If you don't clean your cartos it sounds like the dual may last longer from what I'm hearing but I have only vaped one full carto myself. If I used an ego I think I would go with the dual carto mainly because it holds almost 2 ml more than the e-carto. I use the echo auto battery and the carto for it holds about 3.4 ml so it holds plenty of juice to last me 12 hours of steady vaping.

As we use these the next few weeks I'd like to see some stats on battery life with the 650's, 900's and 1000's. Loading one up with 5ml or whatever it's cap is, on a 650 the battery goes out before the carto is dry. On the 900 I can pretty much go even with juice vs battery life. I can vape the whole carto on one charge of the 900. But that's kinda pushing it. Have no idea on the 1000's since I don't own one and do not want to get this rig any larger. I'm sure a lot would depend on the age of the ego also, most of mine are 5 months old now.

What types of juice is everyone using, out of curiosity?

I was using 90%PG juices, good vapor production, scary TH, and excellent flavor. I have a few 36mg juices that were WAY too robust in the TH department, so I cut them 50/50 with straight VG to bring the nic level down.

I filled up a nearly empty dual coil with the new 50/50 mix, and WOW, just obscene amounts of vapor! Obviously VG pumps out more vapor than PG, but I never liked the lack of TH with VG, but with these DCCs it's like the best of both worlds. One of my previously 36mg 90/10 pg/vg juice is now (roughly) an 18mg, 50/50 pg/vg juice, and I LOVE it!

This is the lowest nic level I've ever actually been satisfied with. I credit this to the DCCs, because without them the TH just isn't there, especially with a 50/50 pg/vg mix. And vapor production just took a huge jump.

I really think I'm going to start using 50/50 lower nic juices from now on with these cartos, because they perform so well I don't need to use ridiculous amounts of nicotine to satisfy my desire for TH. Even though I cut down the juice 50/50 with straight VG, and no additional flavoring, I"m still getting tons of great flavor, obviously a little less than when the juice was at full strength, but still awesome. Plus I just cut the price of my juice in half, seeing as I got all the VG free from that gallon VG "sample" that one company was giving out. They seem to wick perfect with thicker VG too, I was a little worried about getting that burnt taste if the cartos couldn't wick fast enough, but I just sat here taking huge drag after drag, to the point where the carto's body was almost uncomfortable to touch, and no off-flavors, and no drop in performance.

Just thought I would share, because I am now even more pleased than before. I tried dripping the same cut-down juice mix with a standard 510 atty, and its absolute crap. But with these DCCs, it really hits the spot.

I just cannot get over how awesome these things are, I have yet to find a single weakness. Before I got these I was planning to go the whole tank route, maybe a MAP or eGo-T, but now I have no desire to do so, especially after reading about how the flavor seems to drop a lot with tank systems.

I also have gone 5 days without a cigarette, something I never could have done before getting these dccs. These things are a life-changer(saver?) and I'm just flipping out with joy that I found them. Thanks goes to ECF for providing such a great place for people to share information, without it I probably would have purchased something sub-par and never get off cigarettes.

Joanr,

I am using these with ST 900mAh batts, and with a fully filled carto, it just starts running dry pretty much at the same time as the battery gets soft, but I never use a battery until it actually dies, and never run a carto dry-dry, so I can't really get terribly specific with battery run-time estimates.

I have to concur. I thought they were pretty good on the first fill. They got better on the second, and seem to be completely broken in and ready to pour out vapor from the third fill onwards. They wick VG juices really well. They handle a nice range of voltage (finally hit one with my 6.0v set up tonight - fresh off the charger batts actually closer to 7.0v unloaded and 6.2v loaded). That scorched the juice, but I expected it and threw that one in boiling water for another cleaning session.

If anyone decides to drop sixty bucks on an eGo booster DonDaBoomVape reports that is will drive dual coils at least well above 4 volts (should be a beautiful way to vape these getting around 4.5 or 4.6v)

I've torture tested these cartos and they are going to hold up. I've used my most carto-killer juice in one, I've boil cleaned, I've vodka cleaned, I've chainvaped them so hot that I could feel the ambient heat on my face... They get better and better. The flavor holds up and actually improves when the filler starts to swell. I vaped one completely dry, and after filling, the dry nasty taste went away. I've run them at 3.2v, 3.7, 4.2v, 5.0v, and now 6.2v and they took it without blowing a coil or ruining the filler.

I'm probably going to set these down for a little while starting tomorrow. I have a shiny new box of triple coils on the shelf calling to me to experiment with and abuse for the next few days to see how they handle the worst I can do to them.

Well after reading this comment and your prior comments how the dual carts provide a richer flavor at 3.7 vs 3.2 provided by the ego batteries, I decided to order a KGO by SLB from Hoosier E-cig Supply ( eGo 1100 mAh 2 battery kit ) and 10 of the dual carts from Madvapes website eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer . Supposedly the KGO will run at 3.7 to 3.8 thru the life of it's discharge while vaping. (They show a couple demo videos on their website utilizing a voltage meter. It's pretty impressive.)

I hope the carts can handle Red Oak™ Smoke Juice - Johnson Creek . Their Red Oak smoke juice is 100% VG and I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can enjoy their products without prematurely 'killing' these carts.

Appreciate your comments, along with everyone else's input!!!

That's great that you can finally put down the cigs. I'm almost 6 months now and except for the occasional drag on a cig I think I want but quickly extinguish, I'm free of the anologs. I'm not thinking about quiting vaping at this point but one day as I gradually lessen the nic content in the juice I might be at 6mg and that would give me the nic I like for my fybro and still feel terrific.

I use mainly organic 50/50 juices at 18 or 12mg right now. They couldn't taste better than this. I still like the smaller 1.5 DCCs for trying out new juices but when I find a keeper it goes into the mega.

That's about what I'm getting right now, about even with juice and batt with the 900. I've been wanting to try HV vaping but not in so great a rush now that these are available. When all my egos die, and they eventually will, I might purchase a VV ego type mod that will do 3.7 and 6V, but here's some good news, there is going to be a VV Joye ego batt in the near future. That mod combined with these cartos will be awsome I think. Can't wait.

I also saved my caps from previous Ego-T purchases that fit the EMDCC. This will make it real handy to fill a couple of these, cap them, and take them with you for extras that will last an extended period of time. In short, the EMDCC is a winner.

Hi Tom,

Really sounds like a great idea to have some different carts pre filled... Especially if ya get tired of a flavor and want to quickly swap out for a new flavor.

Could you share a pic or a link that shows what this cap looks like? It would help aid me to search for these caps from a vendor.

Thanks!

I don't have a way of doing pictures, but here's an example of a product I saved the end caps from:

https://www.cignot.com/product_p/ego-cto-alb.htm

The cap on an Ego-T Type B tank will work for one end, so I don't throw these away either. I've never seen any caps you could buy separately without the product. I'm somewhat surprised that the EMDCCs didn't come with end caps - maybe the low price. I hope this helps you some.

Does this look right?

This is great news, something I will also be looking forward to. I think that Joye has consistent high quality and reasonable prices. If you have a link announcing this, I would really appreciate you sharing it.

No, this is much smaller than what would be required and in in the wrong shape. I know what this is - a replacement for part of the working product - an Ego-T Type B tank end.

What is needed would be round - much larger - and typically called a condom. If you go back to the link I gave you - look at the end pieces that are not part of the working product - one round rubber condom for the end that goes next to the battery and one rectangular rubber end for the mouthpiece end. You remove these pieces before using the cartomizer shown in the link I gave you. They are the same size and shape as the ends of the Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer.

No sorry, no link to any official announcement. Chris at GotVapes was teasing all of us with one of his famous "soon to come" quips. It was in his GV forum, don't recall which thread. But they need to catch up that's for sure. For now there are many ego like styles that are true 3.7V and with switching batteries will do 6V. Also mods like the "Little Sister" that have a dial to regulate voltage and will go 0-7V. I've been looking at that one since it's so small and shaped nicely. Joye has the 5V passthrough ego batt but I'm not one to be tied down to a cable and AC adapter or want to vape through my usb port.
I do know that if we are enjoying these dccs on ego batts at like 3.1-3.4V, which is what mine rings out at using the Fluke, than I imagine we'd all be blown away with these at higher voltages.

LOL! I'm now rethinking my 18mg with the eMDCCs and eGo batts. Hell, I was a 2 PaD for 45 years. Started vaping at 24 and went to 18mg within two weeks. But these eMDCCs are hitting more than ANY eGo combo I've tried. May have to drop the nic a bit...

I bought an E-Power body and switch/button to try the 3.7. But, I thought it was for 14500s, which I have. Noper, I misread, 14650. This set up is now on the Classifieds.

Regardless, I really don't need, at this time, to seek a better vape. For now, I've found my eGo Nirvana!

Yep, life is good with these, that's so true...lol. I'm still experimenting, it's in my nature. I'm never really satisfied with anything, thinking there is always a next level to take it to. But for now if nothing new ever came along I'd be quite happy with what I have. I know it's a contradiction in a way, but that's just me. What juices are you using most in these? I'm at 18 now and getting ready to take it down to 12 next month. I'm also trying to reduce the nic levels, kinda like a 6 step program.

Right now I have five fav flavs I rotate daily:

Hawaiian Pineapple - Vermillion River
Strawberry - Prime Vaping
Vanilla Bourbon 2X - FSUSA
Apple Cinnamin - Rock Star
Peach Cobbler - Gourmet Vapor

I tried some 'bakky flavs, and no joy there. Isn't it ironic that I like sweet flavs after sooooo many years of of soooo many cigs?

And yes, I'm sittin' right where I'm at, for now!
