Was that your photo of the tree on their home page?

Yep. The tree is called a Live Oak. My 19 year old son is sitting on one of the outstretched branches on the far left side of the pic. It will give you an idea just how large this tree is. Click on the following link and then click on the tree pic to see a larger image size...

I got one of these new cartos sent to me to try out have a question has anyone took a pipe cutter and just cut the skirt off the bottom instead of using adapters.I am going to be using these on non egos so with skirt loped off the bottom it should screw on as other 510 carts.

Any one tried to do this??????

Not with one of these but I took a tube cutter to an ego-t atty a few months ago. THe problem becomes that the guts are pressed in with a plastic liner. Cutting the skirt off affects the integrity of the pressing and the guts will no longer stay put.

I didn't think about these issues thanks six.

Well, EMDCC #2 died today after 30 days nonstop service (I killed the first one cleaning it) - a coil failed and vapor production went way down. My trusty multimeter verified the diagnosis.

I figure the thing had a bit better than 70ml of juice run through it before the coil failed. I have no complaints at all :)

I think I may hold a Viking funeral for the thing. I'm pretty happy with the way these things work.

well, i've completely gone the other way with the emdcc's. i have 2 going all the time now, and i use heavier but mostly pg juices, now ... diy peanut butter fudge (reese's?), etc. i love that snap, crackle, and pop, so, when the coils get a little sluggish, i use the vv box and passthru to get an extra day or so out of them, and then toss 'em. i'm figuring on going thru about 8 a month ... not bad if you're counting pennies but still want to experience the best from these. i love my desert juices, and they do seem to age a carto faster (from what i've experienced). i can do pg with lighter flavors, but i don't get the satisfaction i want from that. i'm doing my own creme brulee next, but i can make about any flavor i choose, now. the money i'll be saving on my own juices will more than make up for the cost of vaping 8 of these per month. also, i got tired of pre-mixed juices not being consistent. if this is just a phase i'm going thru, it's a fun phase! :) i still keep the center channel of the filler clear, but i've quit cleaning them, too ... might run some pg thru, if one gets a little clogged.

That's what made me start DIY a year and a half ago. I would find my favorite flavors but when I reordered they were never the same. Plus I wanted more control over what was in it and the ability to cut down on the nicotine without losing flavor. I've tried a couple of times to order again but never was really satisfied as much as I am with DIY. If I don't like mine I can either change it or dump it and not lose a lot of money. I'm glad you're having success with your DIYs. :)

We have like experience with these. Yes, I'd say at $2.49 each these are a great bargain.

Well, the one I posted about in a prior post has maybe bit the dust. It made it almost three weeks. It was one of the clear ones, and it cracked. It was still producing, but after the crack it became airy. I read somewhere on here about replacing the clear tube with a modified syringe. I might get the Dremel out and modify a syringe. I have one that appears to have the same
dimensions. Guess I'll go back to the black ones.

thanks, gooddog! my goal was to not have to mess with the juices or equipment very much. i finally found the pefect carto but found i had nothing to vape because of getting juices that were downright bad. i'm so glad all that's changed ... and i've yet to try capella's or flavour art flavors. thanks again! :)

Has anyone tried putting a cut 16 guage blunt needle in the airway to keep it open? I just tried a 14 guage, too big, guess i need to order some 16 guage.

I wouldn't do that, you may damage the coils. I think giving the carto a good shake and blowout through the battery end to clear out the tube is sufficient to keep these operating in good form. If you want you can insert a toothpick at the top of the tube to help keep juice out when filling, but these have such a large diameter that it's pretty easy to fill without getting the juice down the tube.
