I think I might do a blog write up in the next few days on the different multi-coils I've tried. The only ones I haven't had yet are the 2.5 ohm rated and Ikenvapes (but Ikens might be the same as the regular DCs - I just don't know). The only ones I'll never buy again are any of the clear ones (it's a lifestyle thing - I need something more durable)

I think that many would appreciate that and find it very useful, certainly including me.

My latest information on the EMDCC is still outstanding. It's so outstanding that I just bought a 510 to Ego Mega adapter so that I can use the EMDCC on my Maxi Roughstack. In my opinion, the EMDCC performs circles around the other 510 MDCCXL that many of us have been testing. As a bonus, the EMDCC holds much more juice and appears to be built much better. There must be some other internal differences that I don't know about. I just know in my mind from my testing that the EMDCC is far superior to anything that I've used, so I just ordered 10 more of them.

... huge 3 inch carto sitting on top of a 5 inch mod creating vapor you just about have to cut through with a machete is sort of far out. I would have never dreamed of such a thing when I first started vaping. This technology keeps getting better and better.

That should be quite a sight! lol Even though I've only been vaping for 5 months now, I agree with you that vaping tech does keep getting better. Also, thanks for the review on cleaning these. And I have tried adding a little VG to this first carto and it worked great; I was wondering how it would work with higher VG. I also wonder about darker, thicker e-juices but think I won't get around to trying them until I have an extra carto that I can spare.

All I've been looking for is an easy vape, and these cartos are definitely easy. I say "easy" because I want great flavor, vapor, and ease of filling with a large capacity ... all with no muss and no fuss. I think I've finally found it! When I first saw these cartos, I didn't see any reviews but had a good feeling about them, so I bought 5 of them immediately. It's nice to sometimes be right about some things. If these keep holding up the way I think they will, I think these cartos will be the standard I use to judge others by from now on. Now, I can finally go on and concentrate on the MODs that I can use with these.

Regarding the drag, I'm finding that I have to remove the carto very often to sop up the condensation from the battery connector ... makes a huge difference! And, yes, I do lose flavor when chain vaping.

As for the clear cartos, I tried the CE2's and ended up tossing them one by one, soon after opening and taking a few vapes on each one. Maybe it's just me, but I had a problem with plastic melting and a bad, toxic tasting flavor. I won't try them again.

Thanks again for the great review update, Six!

P.S. I forgot to say that I don't mind making the little center-post adjustment to get these to work with my KGO 1100 bats either. For the reward I get, it's a small sacrifice.

The problem with the ego cartos is the protruding plastic that covers the batteries outter threads. Sometimes they worked on my joye but not on my riva. I'd say ur better off messing with the carto rathwe than ur battery. Grind it down with a grinder or dremel about 1 millimeter or until u can get it to fire without having to over tighten.

I'm going to wait for the next run of these and see if the manufacturer sorts out that little issue with the 510 connector. Even though it's an easy fix, those sorts of quality control issues annoy me. Just because I'm willing to tinker with my PVs doesn't mean I should have to.

Okay, tinkering with the post is finally getting to me. When I switch back to the EGO bat, these work fine, but, when I go back to the KGO, I keep having to make that adjustment. It's starting to become an inconvenience, now, but that didn't stop me from order 3 more, just for good measure.

I also noticed, today, that the flavor seems to be have dropped off. I'm wondering if the end of day 4 is time to clean the carto? I figure if I do something wrong, and screw that up, I'll still have 7 left to make it through the month and then some ... and if I only get 4 days out of each carto, and don't end up with any duds, I should still be okay. Hopefully, I'll do a lot better than that estimate. Is flavor drop off a sign that the carto needs cleaning?

Also, I used to soak my cartos in hydrogen peroxide and rinse them out and let them air dry ... they seemed to work fine until I tried a darker, heavier (thicker?) juice in them which seemed to burn and cake them up pretty bad. This is why I'm afraid to use my Kona Mocha in these EMDCCs until I have one that I'm almost ready to toss anyway. I love that juice, too, so it's very tempting. Anyway, the question is: Is it okay to soak cartos in H2O2? Or is boiling water the only way to go? I think I tried that once ... boiled the water and took it off the stove and put the cartos in for a few minutes but didn't see that it actually cleaned them. I didn't put them in boiling water and keep the water boiling while they were soaking, so maybe I did it wrong. I guess I just didn't like the small cartos I was using (came with a kit), so I quit using them altogether, except for when I tried the CE2s and didn't like them either.

I'd love to make it over to the Vape Fest, but Florida is quite a ways from Vegas, and money is an object for me. I'll have to see if there are any specials going on during that time. It would be great to be around a lot of like-minded people who are happily vaping away and checking out all the newest MODs. Right now, I only know one other person who vapes, and she doesn't do it often, really. When I try to talk to her about it, she gets this blank look on her face. I let her try my EGO Tank when I first got it, and she looked like she was afraid of it! She has a Green Smoke kit that she's had for over a year, so I don't think she's very adventurous about trying new things, plus she's mostly still smoking cigs, too. lol Of course, everywhere I go, people are asking me what I'm smoking and where to get them!

Quite true. This has become a new phenomenon for me as well. When I was only using eGo batts with Boge and Echo cartos, everything worked seamlessly. Now that I've also started using an assortment of mega cartos and knock-off eGo batts, the center post adjustment has almost become a ritual. Fortunately I'm getting good at it.

This is the nature of the industry. It is young. There are no standards. And quality control is sketchy and half a world away.

The good community support here at ECF will keep us all vaping along.

JJ :)

VeggieGirl, you need to boil them for several minutes, change the water and boil again, do again until the boiling bubbles look clear when they rise to the surface. Then rinse them good with some filtered water and set out to dry. Some folks will pad them up in a sock and throw em in the clothes dryer for awhile, I haven't tried that yet. I also heard one gal who washes em in her dishwasher in the small appliance holder, with no soap, just the hot water and lets them dry with the heat cycle on. I do that with my aquarium equipment I want to clean real well.

Ok. I'm just an hour into these new cartos, so no review yet, but really what's not to like except maybe the yuky black color? Bring em on in pink and white or stainless to match some more of the ego batt's colors. It seems to me like a giant Smoktech 1.5 and vapes essentially the same quality. Kinda rubbery tip to it, I like the tips on the Giantomizers better, but these are outstanding so far.

I haven't tried any knock offs but I'm thinking about it ... just saw some bats for cheap! I just know that I wouldn't be any good at modding anything and don't want to waste the money, but something like the center-post adjustment is just easy and doesn't take any special talent or equipment. The reason I quit lurking and finally started typing was because I can find out only so much from reading, and I can't read everything (although I've learned a lot from just reading) ... can't find it all. and a lot of what I've read is conflicting, so I have big question marks where answers should be. I'm just glad to finally have the support that ECF offers from such great and like-minded people. As I think of more questions, I will certainly be posting them. Maybe I should have started a new thread.

Thanks! I HAD been doing the boiling water cleaning wrong ... no wonder it didn't work. I will certainly try it as you describe so well.

Just wondering if you noticed any primer in these cartos? I forgot to check and on putting mine on an empty bottle top to fill, I later noticed some black in there from the excess juice that had dripped out the post end. I also noticed a little harshness to my throat for a little while. I'm going to try blowing the next one out before I fill it. What is another way I might get the primer out (if that's what is was)?

Also, regarding the rubber mouth peace, someone here mentioned the EGO Mega drip tips, so I plan to try one of those later. I found several places that carry them ... some have colors, too. The rubber does feel yucky!!

Y'all convinced me. 5 on the way.

I really like the 1.5 ohm duals on my egos and the 2 ohm single coil units on my 510 batts.

These will look better on the egos and hold more juice, so I'm looking forward to getting them.

Color choices would be good though,,, Is the black a sticker?? If so I can at least have some stainless ones.

Good for you! I think you like these. Unfortunately, these are black hard plastic so no color choices. I've stripped the coating off some of my black attys and batts, too.

UPDATE: I'm sorry. I was totally wrong about these being hard plastic. I'll have to start looking better before I leap from now on! And I do remember looking at the inside earlier and thinking about the metal, so maybe I'm just tired tonight. Thanks, guys, for not rubbing my nose in it too bad.

No primer that I noticed but I blew mine out before fill just to make sure. I tried one of those empty tips that come with the ego B tanks and they are a tad too long but fit the diameter perfectly so the mega ego driptip would work. One nice thing about these tips is they are not going to get knocked loose like some of the other tips that come with the mega cartos. These are going to stay put for me. I actually found something my hubby and I can agree on, after all the fails with him this is working for him! Now I have to get him a Stainless 900 mah batt so he won't gripe about his 650's needing excessive charging. The DC's on my 650's will take em out in just a half hour give or take a few minutes, but they are a few months old now. I think the larger 900 or 1000 would work a lot better but I'm a tad self concious vaping these big guys in public. Just a girl thing.

It's painted steel. Rubbing alcohol takes off the paint just like the eGo mega attys. Some people clean their attys and cartos with denatured alcohol (I don't nor do I recommend that) and have turned black attys to steel. I just tested that a little bit with some nail polish remover my daughter had sitting out. I scratched the paint a little with my pocket knife and then rubgbed some polish remover on the scratched spot with a cotton ball. It stripped the paint pretty fast.

Watch the available units start shrinking down on the website.

There is another vendor with them now, but he's asking 4 bucks each. COV has had them on his site since at least yesterday. I won't pay that much, but if madvapes runs out, they won't be impossible to find.

Actually I don't think the ones on Nhaler are the same, they only hold 3.5ml. The ones I'm talking about hold about 4.5 ml and are supposedly only available at Madvapes exclusively, but who knows. I have the colossal one from Nhaler already and it's very nice also but these new ones fit the ego battery diameter and have the inset skirt like the ego mega attys.

So glad I found this thread. I have been vaping one of these (bought 4) for 3 days full of Bobas and loving it! I had a simlar problem with the one I am vaping now, it fits one of my 650's and not the other nor the Black smok tech bargin 900 we all love. I think they are worth every penny madvapes are asking if i can get them to fit. Ill look threw the thread again but was there a particular eGo clone that they did work well on or was it just Joye stuff they always fit?? Great vapor Great flavor want these to work and stick around for a long time!
