Almost forgot helped another one try to give up cigs with vaping. Been a decent last couple of weeks started two people on vaping and started working on two more hopefully they'll start vaping soon.
I'm just passing through and figured I'd pop in and learn all about the ego one tank series..
GREAT prices...(but sometimes on sale at other sites)...
The link is for the "eGo ONE Mega V2 Tank" (4ml.)...but @pufZeppelin has pictures/links in this thread of the smaller ones...
Joyetech eGo ONE Mega V2 Tank
Joyetech CLR Coils (5 pack)
..
Thanks Gerry. Rebuildable coils...Uhmm, your link says they fit on a Tron...
I'm about to buy yet another eVic VTC mini to replace one (I have four - 2 v1, 2v2)
that started overheating when charging off USB (which I rarely do)
so I retired it
and they all seem to come with a Tron tank now...I wonder how much of a PITA
those are to rebuild..
Do you know the diameter of the actual eGo One![]()
I'm not looking to actually get one but if they fit in the holes
on my mod stand left over from the old VAMOs which are starting to die
I might get one to fill a hole...
Thanks again and Hello

Thanks for kicking it back, Luvr.I have a tron and they for perfectly! They're super simple to rebuild. One of the members here, Shawn Hoefer, has an excellent tutorial on rebuilding CLR coils on YouTube

I am cleaning some of my other stock coils in vodka right now, hoping to get some more mileage out of them. It got me thinking if I could improve upon all those strange tasting CL coils you get when you buy a tank. I'm going to give them a vodka bath to see if it improves the taste. They were going to be used for parts and tossed anyway, so why not!?

..and if not, just swig enough of the vodka after which point you won't care.![]()
Probably wouldn't be too bad. I've been using hubby's vodka , which isn't bottom shelf. Shh, don't tell![emoji38]

I do not have an Ego One, is this the same as an AIO?
If so any experience in the spitting of juice? Not just a tiny bit but quite a lot.
Asking for a friend. Any input appreciated.
No, the AIO uses a different coil. The Ego One system has separate battery and tanks. I don't get much spitting out of my CLR coils. Some, like any other tank, but not much.I do not have an Ego One, is this the same as an AIO?

I had been smoking (and loving it) for about 50 years before I tried my first e-cig...and switched immediately...
I developed something of a "missionary zeal" about vaping...(I was amazed with my new smelling breath, nice smelling clothes, clean car/apartment windows, no more shortness of breath with hills, no more $15/day for analogs, etc.etc.etc.)...
I bought a couple of cheap/reliable tanks/mods/ejoose to give to smokers to try...but i think they saw it as too new/unfamiliar/"complicated"...
Now...I give any interested smokers a couple Flings to try/take with them...(they're about the size of an analog and the "smoking experience" [including the amount of vapor and TH] is very similar)...
(I always have Flings around...they're PERFECT for being a patient in [or visiting a patient in] a "We Confiscate All E-Cigarettes" hospital.)

Just to add to the above, I use 50/50 PG/VG eliquid with a 28 gauge SS316L, 2.5 mm ID CLR coil and a snug, organic cotton (KGD style) wick, juice control fully open, and I've yet to notice more than negligible leakage. For those not real familar with using clr coils
In our household we use clrs in mega tanks and the v2 tanks all the time with about 96.4% Pg in our diy formula and learned to close almost all the way the bottom juice control ring to almost meet the top ring on coil never no burnt hits and no flooding of the coil.
But that's with a very high pg based diy formula.
A high VG formula most likely would need the bottom ring down lower as an example as the juice would be much much thicker thus flow a lot slower onto coil.
So experimenting with that bottom ring either up or down to get a burnt hit then lower or raise it to no burnt hit and it should work great once that happy medium is found. Cotton is dirt cheap and worth trying it.
Hope this helps some.
There are various Ego One battery models that I think ranged in diameter between 16mm to 22mm. You can check here:Thanks Gerry. Rebuildable coils...Uhmm, your link says they fit on a Tron...
