So far I'm really liking the 2ml eggroll, thanks DPL! :thumb: took a couple days on it and decided to re-wick the thing, man they pack that cotton tight into them coils. I went with rayon on the re-wick, so far so good.

On a sad note, when coming home from shopping today, I took my TiP3 with eggroll on top out of my holster, and one of my favorite geanie style SS tips was nowhere to be found :( Guess I'll be running a Loki Labs stubby on this attie, it fits a little snugger and nothing to catch on...

Anyone else loose a drip tip on one of thes atties?

I can't wait to re-build a few of these coils into the 1.5-1.8Ω range...

I already ordered a 4ml version and two packs of coils to play with :) I guess with the recent news, these should be available for at least a couple a years moving forward? :D

On NO, E!!!! I haven't lost any, but I usually play with the tips until I find a snug one. I do hope you find it.

...annnd 18 minutes later I changed my mind and now have a 3/32"id 29 ga Kanthat coil reading 1.8Ω :)

I built my first one today. 28g, I think 8 wraps, and it's sitting pretty on Sangria Provi at 1.7.

I use the 2.5mm mandrel, mainly because it fits the slots nicely.

That's what I used too. Piece of cake.

Thanks, @Shawn Hoefer for the walk through!

Nah, that tips a gonner, but I got a half a dozen more like it kicking around, it was kinda wobbly on there, and I had the wifes car cause mine was full and hers was on E  So my eggroll mega V2 came in today, and I took a stock 1.0 Ω coil and yanked the cotton, actually, kinda twisted it an let itself screw outa the coil, and left the wire and pulsed and compressed it with my ceramic tweezers. The bigger tank seems to breath a lil better than its little brother too, but yeah, I'm going to be sticking with the compressed coils in these things. It's a great vape with what I done to it, but I just think I like thinner wire better. It's so nice to be able to rebuild these things with strait reistance wire. Really cool tank system :thumb::cool:

@DPLongo22 , just for giggles and stuff I put this mega an a V2 ProVari, the Pthingie reads the coil at 1.1Ω and is firing it pretty good at 3.4 volts, V2/R sais that should be 10.5 watts. pretty good vape for such an old girl

Yeah, E. I've run them on it, even a 1.0.flat, but the limited range (topping out at 3.3-3.4) makes to tough for some folks. Up a couple/few points though and they swim like Phelps without a shark... ;-)

There is also a list of other types of tanks that takes these coils. Kat has the list I think.

:)

She does. She shares. :)

still figuring this thing out, but right now, I'm pretty sure this is going to be a go to tank, and will probably get a couple extras for when I travel.

Awww, so glad you're enjoying it, E-D! We sort of thought you might.

As a new convert to this tank, I'm really liking it. :)

Having rebuilt many, many PT2 coils, this is actually easier. Probably due in part to the larger coils size.

I do have a question/concern though. With the PT2, I needed to replace the insulator every so often due to tearing and or burning. Are the insulators for the eGo ONE available anywhere?

Thanks.

At last check, Rick, they were not. Many of us are hopeful for sometime in the future though.

Someone else may know more up-to-date information, and I hope they'll pop in if so. I'd stock up if any were ever found.

Thank you!

Just to be on the safe side I ordered a few more coils, and a couple more tanks ;)

They've lowered the price of the coils by $1.00 since last week. :) Joyetech CLR Coils (5 pack)

At that price it's going to be easy enough to put a few coils away. I plan on re-wicking and rebuilding each one till they give up the ghost, them coils should last a pretty long time that way :)

And yeah, these things are worlds easier than them PT2 heads :thumb::cool:

Question for Wismec Amor users:

Is the glass tube removable or is it "permanently" attached to the tank cage like the Eleaf GS tank series?

Thought I'd give one a try, but couldn't disassemble the cage to wash it out. Couldn't smell any oil, but still wanted to give it a thorough wash before using it.
