Are you using the CLR 1.0 coil?

That's what I was wondering too. If you're using the CLRs, it could be a wicking problem. Also, how many watts are you using? Too low can cause spitting due to flooding.

Not sure about ohms, whatever coil came with it. They are packed away so I can't look right ow.

Likely too low watts since I am a TP, mtl person and rarely exceed 15w.

Usually comes with two different coils. I'm betting you are using the Cl coil, which almost everyone seems to dislike. The 1.0 CLR is the secret ingredient that makes the Ego tank so special. It's rebuildable when needed and very easy to re-wick. In my opinion, it is drop-in perfection.

When I first got the Ego Mega tank as part of a kit, I did exactly like you. I tried it, didn't like it, and put it on the shelf. Turns out I was using the wrong coil. Since discovering the CLR, I've bought close to 20 of the tanks in various sizes. I've never had a sputtering, spitting problem with any of them.

ETA: I never get up to 15W. I stay pretty much 8 to 10.

Thanks, I will check coils. I didn't know these were rebuild-able. Learn something everyday.

What's the gizmo between the tank and the drip tip?

I'm not even sure. Some bling @Katdarling came up with, and I like using them with short tips. They keep me from mouthing the top of the tank.

You don't think I'm actually going to admit that I like the way the look, DO you???

Welp, I suspect the same as Mike-Adore. They just might be those dreaded CL (vastly different than the CLRs) coils. And also like Mike, I'm usually zipping along at about 9w.

Rewicking them is ridiculously easy! I wish every tank would take that little work. I think you'll start loving them soon, rose.

Ok, I found a box of coils, they are 1.0 but don't say if they are CL or CLR so I dunno.

Do the have two little bunny tails of cotton coming out of the sides? If so, those should be CLR.

Can you snap a pic? Most here will recognize A from B on sight.

They should be 1Ω and look like this:

The regular coils that come with the Eggies are garbage, as everyone has already noted. :)

Good to see you all again! Missed you! :)

Good to see thread is still going.

Had stopped vaping the mega tanks for oh probably 2 months now been vaping the innokin zenith really like it as much also.

Personally for moi the Zenith being top fill (quick and easy) and never leaks.

I, too, have replaced my Eggies with Zeniths...

(I decided that my life was too short to play around with Bottom-Fill Tanks any longer)…

But, I return to this thread every now and again...because EVERYONE here is so friendly...(and SMART)…

Interesting. I never considered it because I don't want any more atomizers with premade coils only. How's the draw compared to the eggies? Tighter, looser, about the same?

Yeah, I suck at them. Seriously. I think I've broken at least seven, maybe more. LOL I do have one 2 ml tiny one but I was getting desperate and well, yeah.

Then I discovered the Oddessy and I now own two and I wish I hadn't bought those however many eggrolls because I bet I could have three more Oddessys. They always read.

I cannot use Trons either and if I calculate the cost of those PLUS the eggrolls I'd get very depressed probably.

They vape great for me, for like 10 minutes. Oh well. The husband still has like TWO and one he cannibalized from spare parts from my broken ones. It's definitely me.
