I do build coils for my REOs and build at about 1.8.
I have some regulated mods and could try these coils on my Pico but my Provaris won't go that low!
Any idea where to start my wattage on my Pico? I also have an Evic VCT mini if that would be better!
I know I can't use the .5 on my Ego One mini. The Ego One mini tank is all I have right now to use the coils in until I buy a larger tank!

whoa, lot going on here

put the .5Ω coil in your ego one mini tank, fill it up, screw it on your Pico OR VTC
set watts to about 8w and vape it
then 9w - more vape
try 10w, see how it works

and so on...

when you buy an eGo ONE "KIT" it comes with both .5Ω & 1.0Ω coils to make it, the "ONE" for everyone :D

bonus tip: if the .5Ω is to airy, swap out the center pins with a 1.0Ω coil

If it's a CLR, I'd just rebuild it before using it, and wind the coil for the ohms you prefer. Then swap the center pins. Use the center pin from the old CL coil in place of the center pin on the .5 CLR coil. That should calm down the airflow.

Hope that made sense.

Edit: puf beat me to it!

I was afraid I had remembered incorrectly about swapping out the center pins -- thanks to all who confirmed that!
Awesome folks here!!

yepper, since YOU ARE NEW to this one (.5Ω) coil

I would just stick it in and try it out (8w,9w, 10w)

you'll probably be surprised by air flow and warmth but just play around, break it in and see how it goes

then after that you can "work" on the coil
swap out the weird cotton (install your own new, big diff) then MAYBE swap center pins to tame air-flow (if you want)

:)

If you're not crazy about it, let me know. I can drop a CLR coil in the mail to you.

According to this eGo ONE Mini - Joyetech you can use the .5 ohm coil with your Ego One mini.

eGo ONE Mini is only 16mm in diameter, and about 109mm in length with 850mAh large battery capacity. Its exquisite appearance is incredible. As the tinier version of eGo ONE, ONE Mini retains all the functions, which also supports not only 1.0 ohm atomizer head for mouth inhale and 0.5 ohm atomizer head for lung inhale, but also CLR atomizer head.

Thanks for the welcome, Nanny!

I'm a huge fan of the Trons & Ego One Megas. The CLRs sold me. I've been rebuilding the same CLR coil for 10 months..lol, using it in the same Tron-S tank the whole time. 5 turns of 30 kanthal, spaced (wound on a machine screw), and stuffed with rayon. 1.6 - 1.7 ohms every time. That's my comfy spot.

If I could offer a tip to the CL / CLR fans. When a CL coil reaches the end of the line, remove & save the little silicone insulator from the CL coil. That insulator is the only weak link in the CLR coil. After a while, it starts to get a little raggedy. If anyone knows where to get replacement insulators, I'm all ears.

Born and raised in Indiana. Been living in a Cleveland suburb for 34 years now. Go Tribe!

Your team the Cleveland Indians played one heck of a game, im sure they will be in the playoffs next season if i was a betting man.
They have one great ball club including its pitching staff and its manager.

Was not happy when Cubs manager pulled their starting pitcher so soon but in the end it all worked
out for us here or near Chicago.
One of us had to loose a great team the Cleveland Indians whom im sure your very proud of .

If my team is not there next year i will cheer on the Cleveland Indians . ; )

As Puf mentioned in earlier thread there will be and was a lot of vaping going on.

Thanks Dieseler! Very well said. In Cleveland, we are very familiar with the phrase "wait until next year". I love our coach and our pitchers. Our team is young and was not expected to do as well as it did this year. I was on the edge of my seat last night. It was nerve wracking to say the least. Congratulations to all the Cubs fans out there. It was your year. Hopefully, the Indians will be back in the World Series next year...

For whatever reason...I don't remember having run across the eGo ONE Mini...

It seems to compare quite favorably with my current favorite out-and-about Mod...the eGo AIO (the original D19)...

The ONE 16mm x 110mm vs. AIO 19mm x 118mm...

The ONE is 1.8ml. vs. the AIO 2.0ml....

The ONE is 850mAh vs. the AIO 1500mAh...

The ONE has slightly more "filling hassle" with its "remove tank => Bottom Fill" vs. the AIO's effortless "unscrew top =>Top-Fill"...

But...the thing that really interests me is that the ONE can use the CLR coils (vs. the AIO needing the Cubis coils).

yepper, the ego one mini is about the size of a sharpie - kicks .... and uses CLR coils
wife LOVED it, but non replaceable battery and the 850 mah ran out qwik !

so seven games in which the 7th one went 10 innings and the win was decided by ONE run (4-3 series)
guess those two teams were about as evenly matched as it gets

@Detroit Doug ~ welcome to the club :toast:

Looking around...found 4 different eGo ONE battery/tank combos:

1. eGo ONE Mini...16 X 110...1.8ml...850mAh
2. eGo ONE V2-Standard...19 X 127...2ml...1500mAh
3. eGo ONE V2-XL...19 X 142...2ml...2200mAh
3. eGo ONE Mega V2...22 X 135.5...4ml...2300mAh

The Mini has those hard to see "slits" on the tank...while the three V2's have the bigger windows...

Is there an eGo ONE Mini V2 available???

yepper, the older v1 is getting harder to find these days...

it all started with the eGo ONE Standard (1100mah/1.8ml) & eGo ONE XL (2200mah/2.5ml)
followed by the eGo ONE MEGA (2600mah/4ml) and MINI (850mah/1.5ml)
ya have to get tricky to see juice levels in those older ones

then the VT//CT TEMP CONTROL ones - ; - then TRONS showed up

then they started including the tanks on the eVics

now we see the v2 eGo ONE tanks (less appealing to me because too much glass to break)
and the cycle starts all over again...

** I've never seen a v2 Mini yet...
