yepper, we all looked but I don't think anyone ever came up with those silicone gromments - I don't know of anywhere to find them...

:smokie:

Thanks, Puf.

You was korrect, Katrina (as is often the kase). So, I reckon we''ll just buy a few more "Justin" coils.

And so it is written.

I ended up with quite a few extra insulators. All the Amor's I bought had two CL coils each, so I took the insulators from them, and saved them.

haha , that's what I've been doing - robbing the yukie CL coils of their good parts...

guess if I ever see a cheap sale price on them it'd be worth buying JUST for the silicone... :D:D:pervy::pervy::p:p

Thanks, Pufferz. I suppose we'll justin keep getting a pack more here and there to the point of really not worrying about replacing the little grommety things. :)

I don't even recall getting CL coils with my Amor, but since I've only one of them, it hardly makes a diff for my 'stash'. If we ever do find them..... hopefully someone will post in CAPS!

Ti CLR 5 pks on sale for 2.50ea- Boy that is CHEAP. I would get a bunch if I didn't use the 1 ohm coils with the smaller air passage. But like you folks say- they last so long. You may need as many Tanks as you do coils for the future

The way it looks is, by the time I wear out a grommet the rest of it will be shot anyway.

with a million CLR rebuilds (well) , I've not ruined one YET (unless you count the one I cut in two because I pulled the wire very tight in hissy-fit)  :blush:

mine are yellowed, knicked, but still soft and work fine after many, many, many reworks... ;)

I'm a West Sider. Found similar table scraps on Telegraph, when I had my '69 Super Bee (Coronet body style) 440 / Six Pack, 4 speed.

By the way. Picked up a good deal on efun, on the Evic Mini / Ego One Mega V1 full kit. My favorite mod. Sturdy, dependable, single cell, workhorse. The Mega is one of my favorite tanks too.

$16.99 for the kit. Cyan or White left. I couldn't resist and grabbed two.

Joyetech eVic VTC Mini VW Full Kit - $16.99

Well I just upped my flavor game with my Amor tanks and CLR coils!
Running at 11W, I would frequently get loud pops and on rare occasion some minor spitting on first draw that would reach my lips (rare as I said). I was Googling for other reasons and stumbled upon someone reducing air flow to reduce ego one coil spit/popping. I reduced my Amor tank air flow from my usual 3-4mm wide opening (each side) to around 1 to 1.5 mm each side, cut the power down to 10W, and the popping is significantly reduced, no spitting, and the flavor went up up up! Now this is flavor vaping at its finest! :w00t:
I don't know why I started out with as much airflow as I did on the Amor and Ego One V2 tanks, it just seemed right at the time, though with my other MTL tanks I've always used a tight/moderately tight draw. My new settings provide me with a moderately tight draw (compared to say the nautilus mini at first or second air holes as being really tight), but better flavor than the nauty mini, triton mini, or anything using the nautilus BVC coils I've tried.
