Moving on >

Per request:
"Paging @JUMA55 - Would @JUMA55 please report to the courtesy desk, @JUMA55 ."

This thread (JUMA) is about all things CLR (coil), not JUST the Eggrolls. It is quite informative, and a great resource. As always, let KD or me know if you have any questions whatsoever. Always here... :)

I posted this elsewhere on forum - teen vaping falls.
I saw the clip teen vaping falls.
Shows some younger folks sitting at counter in vape shop blowing huge clouds.
I have seen this at the casino as well more and more the younger crowd blowing these huge clouds.

As an older person and the ones i know 6 to 7 years back we took up vaping as a safer alternative to get away from smoking but nowadays the companies see the market for the younger crowd .
The tanks have gotten to be 2 and 3 coil setups the devices 2-4 battery with high wattage capacity.

Is it a fad i do not know but if the deem reg go into full effect (no one knows) it may have an effect on that particular way of vaping.
It will not effect my wife and i as we are stocked up for life in all aspects vaping as what they now call tottie puffers on simple clr coil heads and very low wattage.

Not knocking the folks that make clouds as we are all different but something eventually may change.
Hopefully the vaping folks are looking forward to what may happen to vaping as we now know it.

The more I skim around here and read the more questions I have. I posted in the tootie puffers thread I was looking for an atomizer for a new vaper. I thought I might go with the Nautilus 2 but after looking at refilling it, not impressed. So.....
Would you say an ego one mega v2 would be a good tank for a beginner? A cigarette like draw?

Which clr coil? 1.0 or 0.5?

I make my own tc SS coils on other rta, so do any of you use the ti .5 coils? Are they any good or just stick with kanthal?

How are these tanks as far as leaking?

If I were to rebuild with SS then I would need the ti CLRs?

I am using clr .05ohm ti coils and really like them. The coils last longer, and the wicking stays cleaner than with kanthal. Leaking can occur when the coil needs changed or rebuilt or re-wicked.

The difference between the 05 and the 1.0 ohm is (besides the obvious) the opening on the .05 coils are wider, lending to more air that the 1.0.

Hope this helps, and yes a new beginner may as well start with the best out there.

You can use the ss wire of either the reg or the kanthal coil.

I would say your best hope of getting a ciggish draw would be the 1.0 due the smaller air passage.

I use the regular .5s rebuilt with SS @.65-.7 never tried the TI.

No! Only diff between the regular and TI is the wire and gold (big air) positive pin.
I wouldn't suggest using the big air .5 pins if you want ciggish draw.

How are these tanks as far as leaking?

I had very slight seepage when using cotton. Easily controlled by blowing thru the airflows at each refill. Never actually leaked unless it had the chance to build up from not being purged. Since switching to rayon no issue.

Riplea, yes, I believe these tanks would be IDEAL for a new vaper, and I think they're ideal for many of us old vapers, too.

I use nothing but the 1 ohm coils, and I love them. They seem to last "forever" for me. When they start to give it up, a simple, and I mean SIMPLE, rewick does the job.

One of my favorite characteristics of this tank is that they don't leak!!!! I love that. More than pizza. ;)

More than pizza you say? Lol....sold me.

Seriously though, these sound good for what I am looking for. Going to pick up a couple and some coils.

I am using Rayon too. So when they need a rewick, I can easily do that for her.

Thanks for all the good replies.

Let me get back to you on the pizza part, but yeah - no leaks. I use cotton all the time and always make sure there's a little bunny tail on the outside, similar to the stock wicking.

MARVELOUS little buggers, yes they are.
