Pizza and bunny tails, got it! Haha

Ya know...... I MIGHT have to rethink my pizza statement. ;)

Riplea, believe it or not (geeze, I've been SO wanting to say that... ), there are also some who say to cut the wicking as close as you can to the metal. Experiment, and see what ya like. :)

lets talk cup size... :?:

due to the fact that the CLR is ALMOST as big as the 'cup' in the tank which it fits into, if you make the bunny-tails excessive,
one might create a plugging effect and not allow optimum wicking... :w00t:

and we all know what happens when you try to cram too much in a small area...

I would never be so presumptuous as to question your expertise, but I can only speak from my own personal experience. In nine months of use I've had only one leaky CLR. It was the one time that I cut them down short (because of something I read somewhere - I don't remember where though), instead of what you see in the pic.

I promptly removed the wick, then re-stuffed it with my bunny tails.

Never a single drop wicking them that way (for me). Maybe it's because I use cotton? I do not know. I do know that they've been perfect though.

I say, "Pack that tail".:w00t:

Looking back, I should mention that my methodology was a very simple one. I took a look at a stock coil, then said, "Well, THAT obviously works."

So definitely not a horse's tail, but a bunny tail. So definitely don't emulate the example Puf gives as a "DON'T DO" (that's way too long), but a nice little fluffy puff (like a bunny has!).
